Getting ready for Term 3!

Here are some important updates to our Term 3 timetable…..

Garden Playgroup will start at 10:30 am on Mondays.

Baby Playgroup will start at 12:30pm on Mondays.

Both groups are now starting 30 minutes earlier than in previous terms to allow for some special ‘Let’s Play’ sessions in week 2 and 6 term.

Have your say in the Parks Children’s Centre integrated hub community engagement.
Exciting changes are coming to the Parks!
From 2027, South Australia will begin rolling out integrated hubs – bringing together preschool, health, wellbeing and family support services all in one place.
The Parks Children’s Centre has been selected as one of 20 sites across the state – and you have the chance to have your say on the supports and programs!
The integrated hub will build on the strengths of the current centre and offer:
• up to 30 hours of preschool per week for 3- and 4-year-old children who need it most
• access to child and family health development services
• parenting and family support programs
• tailored, community-designed services to meet local needs.
From 2027, we’re asking families and community members to help shape the services offered at the hub.
There are several engagement activities happening over the next 3 months:
• Kindergym Family Engagement Event: The Parks Recreation and Sports Centre/YMCA Friday, 3 July 10.30am
• Baby Bounce – 10:30am, 19 June, 20 June, 10 July, 11 July - Parks Library
• Toddler Time – 10:30am, 18 June - Parks Library
• Storytime – 10:30am, 21 June, 12 July – Parks Library
Community members are also invited to have their say by completing the form on the QR code or visit the Parks Children’s Centre.
