A special thank you to our speakers Dr. Ben Grave and Damian for sharing their inspiring insights into the incredible, life-changing work being done in craniofacial surgery.

Together, we raised over $2000 for Craniofacial Australia! 😳🥹 Every contribution will help support children and families impacted by craniofacial conditions. Thank you for being part of something so meaningful.

Charity and community engagement are something that we as the Flinders University Surgical Society are passionate about. Three years ago we decided to revive the Charity Cocktail event and have partnered with Craniofacial Australia since. This is one of my most cherished events each year and I highly anticipate the ability to work with such an amazing organization. We had an amazing turn out for the bake sale last Friday and this Friday we will be having our Charity Cocktail event. If you are not able to attend please consider donating via our GoFundMe. We look forward to another successful year of fundraising for such a unique and caring foundation.

✨ Dr Rowan Gillies – Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon from NSW with extensive humanitarian experience with Médecins Sans Frontières in Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Liberia, Beirut, Congo, and Sri Lanka. He is a previous International President of MSF and a contributor to the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery.
✨ Prof Suren Krishnan – ENT specialist delivering voluntary surgical outreach across the Pacific Islands, Indonesia, Africa, and Asia. He is actively involved with Rotary programs, Specialists Without Borders, and the DREAMIN Foundation, improving surgical access for underprivileged communities worldwide.
