Happy YLB conference eve!!!!!!!

I’m going to be at Yellow Ladybugs 2026 conference! You can find me online in the live chat during my panel with and on Day 2 at 4:15 AEST and for the first time ever I’ll be there in person on day 3! 🥹

If you’re like me and sometimes don’t know where to start with a convo, to help with some starters I am AuDHD, a fraternal twin, a sewer and love dogs a lot (including my lab Nora). You can chat to me about most anything. But I am not in work mode so I won’t be talking clinical or confidential!

I cannot wait to see everyone there and I’m so grateful to be a part of it all 🖤💛 who will I be seeing?!

I know this is an oversimplification over a very important topic in the community but I am surprised to meet people who are very important to autistic people’s lives still make these statements 😵‍💫

So do you see yourself as disabled as an autistic/audhd-er? Or is there another perspective that makes more sense to you?

It’s really wild to say that I’ll be a part of annual conference this year. Ever since I was diagnosed as Autistic, yellow ladybugs have been a source of inspiration and hope for me. Over the years I’ve sat in my living room streaming it on the tv, held workplace fundraisers and watched in envy as my friends and peers went to the conference! Who would’ve thought that my first year attending in person, would be the same year I was a panellist?!

This discussion was so amazing to be a part of and it was a honour to share the panel with and . I truly felt like I learnt so much myself from their conversation and I’m excited for you to see it too.

I’m really reflecting on how special it’s been for me since my diagnosis to see other autistic professionals and being able to “be what I can see”. It’s really important to me that we have places and positions to aspire to.

Anyways!!! Grab an online ticket or dm me if I’ll get to see you in person 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Watching a local group of extremists protest a day that is all about fighting the hatred and violence faced by the LGBTQIA+ community shows how much this day is truly needed.

It was only 50 years ago that homosexuality was illegal in Adelaide and attacks on the community were common place. That is why we continue to talk about it, to spread inclusion and acceptance, to fight against the higher rates of violence and su***de faced by our community.

If you ever wonder why there weren’t more of us in the past, you’re asking the wrong question. Because we have always been here, and you’re watching what acceptance and inclusion means in real time. Don’t stand in its way.

Sending love to all my community today ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💗

Today’s scenes outside Reynella East College were deeply concerning.

Schools choosing inclusion are choosing kindness, safety and respect for every student.

We stand with the students, staff, families and allies at Reynella East College, and with every young person who deserves to feel safe and valued at school. 💙🏳️‍🌈

Woops IDAHOBIT day is Sunday but this “protest” is happening tomorrow ignore my mistake

A day against discrimination is not trying to make anyone a part of that minority. LGBT people belong everywhere, our kids belong is school and deserve to feel safe, our teachers deserve to be free from discrimination. We have come so far and fought so hard.
