Join the Enable team for the Walk to Defeat MND with MND South Australia on Saturday 12 September at 9am, along the River Torrens.

But yes, hands-on therapy is one of the many tools our physiotherapists use to help people move better, feel better and achieve their goals. 👌

💆 While a physio massage isn't about relaxation, that doesn't mean it won't leave you feeling great.

Physiotherapists use hands-on therapy for specific goals - whether that's reducing pain, improving movement, easing stiffness or helping you get more out of your rehabilitation.

Activity-based training with Enable’s physios 👣

It’s about practising the movements that matter in everyday life.

For Gordon, that means working on stairs to build strength, balance and confidence with movement of his prosthetic, while working towards the goal of stepping up using both legs and alternating between them. ⬆️

It’s practical therapy that focuses on the things someone actually wants or needs to do - like getting up and down stairs, transferring out of a wheelchair, or getting in and out of a car.

This is just one example of activity-based training our physiotherapists use. We can work with clients on all kinds of practical movements to help build confidence and independence in everyday life. 💙

It’s official: Enable Gilles Plains is open. 🎉

What a morning celebrating the launch of Australia’s biggest accessible gym and allied health clinic!

We’re proud of that, but it’s never been about the size of Enable, or the bricks and mortar.

It’s about the people we support inside these walls - their journeys, experiences, progress and goals.

We were privileged to hear from our Client Ambassadors, who shared their stories and how Enable has supported them. You are why we exist, and it’s a privilege to be part of your team. 💙

We were also proud to welcome Jack Batty MP, the Shadow Health Minister, who shared his perspective on the role of allied health in our health system.

Because ultimately, it’s not about what we’ve built. It’s about what people can achieve here. 💪
