It all began when my young son battled severe eczema, and I found solace in massage treatments and aromatherapy while navigating the demands of a stressful job. In

2012, it struck me that I had an innate calling to help not only my family but also my friends and the broader community. This realization led me to embark on a part-time journey of education and exploration. By 2015, I had successfully completed my qualifications, becoming a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist. This was a pivotal moment that marked the birth of my business venture, one that I pursued alongside my husband, Craig, who is the owner of Ethereal Holistic Massage. Together, we ventured into the realm of the Complementary Health industry. Over the years, I've continued to expand my expertise in various therapeutic modalities, including Therapeutic Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage, and Aromatherapy consultations. My commitment to enhancing well-being has driven me to acquire additional qualifications in Reiki, CranioSacral Therapy, Ear Candling, as well as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnotherapy. For me, holistic therapy isn't just a profession; it's a way of life and a heartfelt passion. Every day, I witness the remarkable benefits of these therapies and their transformative impact on our clients' lives. My approach is proactive and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be empowered to lead a joyful life while effectively managing the stresses it may bring. I've been thinking a lot about the word "space" lately.

Not empty space.

Not having nothing to do.

But having enough space in your day to actually hear yourself think.

I know that when life gets busy, one of the first things I lose is that sense of space.

The space to notice how I'm feeling.

The space to check in with myself.

The space to stop rushing from one thing to the next.

And yet it's often in those small pauses that we reconnect with ourselves.

It's often where clarity comes from.

It's often where we realise what we need.

So this week, I want to invite you to create just a little more space for yourself.

Even if it's only three minutes.

Because sometimes three minutes is enough to change how the rest of your day feels.

I think we sometimes underestimate how powerful small calming rituals can be.

Not because they “fix” everything…
but because they help signal to the body that it’s safe to slow down for a moment.

Not just physically…

A breath.

One thing I see all the time is women carrying so much more than they realise.

Not just physically…
but emotionally too.

Stress.
Mental load.
Pressure.
Always being the one holding everything together.

Over time, the body starts holding onto all of that.

Sometimes that looks like:

Your nervous system learns from what you repeat most often.

If you repeat:

rushing

overthinking

staying constantly “on”

pushing through exhaustion

your body begins treating that as normal.

But the opposite is also true 🌿
