As Nexgen is an “open studio” concept we don’t have permanent resident artists as such, in fact most of our guest artists work at other studios and usually come and spend one to two days per week with us filling their calendars and stacking their appointments whilst they are in the city and the majority of our international guests are freelance tattoo artists in their respective countries. Most artists take their own bookings and organise their own appointments and are just utilising the Nexgen open space to further enhance their own small business and these artists can be contacted directly through their own socials etc to arrange appointments. ( please note not all artists working at Nexgen studios will appear on our guest list ). At Nexgen we are not advertising artists as such but rather an open safe space for artists to do their work, we do however add certain artists to our guest list from time to time so anyone seeking art through Nexgen has high quality options with artists we have strong relationships with.
