Mount Batur, you beautiful beast.
Sunrise at the top = unreal.
Getting there..? Let’s just say… character was built.

A few things I wish I knew before the hike:
1. It’s packed. Like, Coachella-for-hikers level busy.
2. Wear real shoes. Tevas don’t cut it—I was slip-n-sliding the whole way down.
3. Don’t do this on 2 hours of sleep unless you’re training for emotional resilience.
4. Give yourself a chill day after. Trust me, your legs will thank you.

Was it worth it? 100%.
Would I do it again? Ask me once my calves forgive me.
