This is probably one of the most common questions we get! The short answer? Usually, no 💩
During a session, some people experience brief moments of pressure or discomfort as the colon contracts and releases waste. Many clients describe it as feeling similar to needing to go to the bathroom. For most people, any discomfort is shor-lived and well tolerated.
In fact, a lot of first-time clients tell us afterwards: "That was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be."
Often, the nerves before the appointment are actually worse than the session itself!
Our therapists guide you through the entire process, answer your questions and help you feel comfortable every step of the way. Many people actually find themselves relaxing during the session and feeling lighter and more comfortable as it progresses.
🎉 And don't forget! If you rebook your next appointment while you're in the clinic before June 30, you'll go into the draw to WIN a FREE follow-up colonic 🤍
