School is back, and so are our Positive Birth and Beyond meet-ups! 🎉 I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break.
Our next PPB meet-up is happening on Saturday, 22nd February at 9:30 AM. Let’s make the most of this beautiful weather and meet at Middleton Beach—with Three Anchors as our backup plan if the weather isn’t on our side.

Proposed insurance changes could affect your choice to birth at home under the care of a midwife from July 2025.

Do you fall into any of these categories;
👉 VBACs
👉 women of colour
👉 mums over 40
👉 IVF mums
👉women in larger bodies

Homebirth Australia are asking for the below survey to be completed to help influence these proposed changes to ensure your CHOICE isn't limited by a label.

The Federal Government recently announced plans to offer insurance for "low risk" homebirths. Right now, there is no insurance available for midwives during homebirths. ✨ Exciting news! I've finally found a location for our first meet up!
So please join me at the Albany Positive Birth and Beyond meetup this Saturday, 9.30am June 1st, at the Dome cafe's private conference room.
