🌟 Let’s Shine Dance Showcase – Sail Away 🌟

Our very first dance, ‘Sail Away’, was written and sung by Evan Ayres, a past performer with Albany Light Opera & Theatre Co (ALOTCo). 🎶

Evan Ayres Music performed in many of Albany Light Opera & Theatre Company productions, including one of our major integrated Let’s Shine productions, creating wonderful memories along the way. ❤️

A very special thank you to Evan for giving us permission to use his beautiful music for our showcase. It was lovely to include a piece of music with such a special connection to our theatre and Let’s Shine history.

🌟 Fabulous Fun at the Albany Port Theatre! 🌟

What a wonderful afternoon we had today at the Let’s Shine Dance Showcase! 💃🕺

Our fabulous dancers performed two dances they’ve been working on for several weeks, sharing their enthusiasm, energy and joy with everyone who came along. ❤️

We then took a trip down memory lane, watching our past dance collaborations with Breaksea on the big screen. What a lovely reminder of the creativity, friendships and wonderful memories we’ve made together over the years!

Our costumes have arrived! 🎉 Whew! One more thing ticked off the list! 👗✨

We’re having our last rehearsal tomorrow before our performance next week, and everyone is getting very excited! 💃🕺

We’re thrilled to have around 60 people coming along to see our two new dances, as well as enjoy some of our favourite past Let’s Shine performances on the big screen. 📺❤️

It’s going to be a wonderful afternoon celebrating our amazing dancers and all the joy that Let’s Shine brings to our performers, families and audience. 🌈✨

Wonderbox is a multi-sensory immersive theatre performance created with and for children and young people with disability, and their family and friends. All performances of Wonderbox are relaxed performances, with audiences invited to sit or move around freely within the performance space and adjacent chill-out zone, which features comfortable seating and minimal sound.
