We’re excited to partner with Edith Cowan University (ECU) and local communities, thanks to Healthway funding, to launch Food Action Groups in the Wheatbelt and Central Great Southern.
The Food Action Groups will connect community organisations, residents, local and state government to:
🍎 enhance nutrition in emergency relief
🍽️ supporting healthier, sustainable food in public settings
🌱 progress a regional food hub
🥘 deliver nutrition and cooking programs, especially for young people and Elders
A huge thank you to everyone who helped shape this pilot. We’re excited for what’s ahead, because everyone deserves access to nutritious food, no matter where they live.
