Job Title: Disability Support Worker – Male Identified
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality, person-centred care.
For this specific role, we are seeking a male support worker to best meet the personal care, privacy, and social participation preferences of our client.
Note: This position is advertised as a gender-specific role under the genuine occupational qualification exceptions of the relevant Anti-Discrimination Acts.Key Responsibilities:Provide respectful assistance with personal care routines, ensuring the client's privacy and comfort at all times.Accompany and support the client during community outings, social activities and sporting events.Assist with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and transport to appointments.Build a positive, professional rapport grounded in shared interests and mutual respect.

For this essential position you must have the following:
Working With Children Check
Police check
NDIS Worker screening check
First Aid and CPR
NDIS Orientation Modules- Orientation and Effective Communication
Infection control certificate

Job Role Criteria
As a support worker you will be providing individual personal care. That may include toileting, catheter care and bowel care
Must have experience in all aspects of manual handling.
Experience using hoists
Medication assistance
Job Type: Casual
Pay: schads award
Must be available for a variety of shifts
Must have current driver's license and own vehicle
