This is a day dear to our hearts here at Elder Medical.
As a team of Millenial mums & dads, who have grown-up immersed in diet-culture, we have experienced the damage it can do.

It’s a day to celebrate and accept all bodies, in all forms of diversity.
A day to remember and focus on why we fight against body discrimination, weight stigma, diet culture and fat phobia.
A day to leave the food rules at home and eat what you want, when you want, because you enjoy it.
No guilt, no bad feelings, no obsessions.
A day to just… be. ✨

She is not only an incredible boss who is taking amazing steps paving the way through aged care GP land, but she is also on many committee's striving for the best care for our elderly, a university lecturer, a highly regarded GP amongst her peers and in her spare 😆 time a friend, a daughter, a cherished family member to many, a amateur builder and most importantly an amazing wife and mum! This woman is doing it all and has a heart of gold.
So, Dr. Jess, sit back and enjoy your day with your hubby and kiddies cos your downtime is so very well deserved.
