🎉🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRAHAM! 🎂🎉

What a fantastic night celebrating one of the great characters in the Arm in Arm community. ❤️
There were presents, plenty of laughs, a seriously impressive birthday cake (Thanks Tanya), some very creative chocolate treats (thanks Toniah) and, of course, one enormous birthday bear who seemed determined to become the centre of attention! 🧸😂

But the best part was seeing Graham surrounded by people who genuinely care and enjoy being part of his life.

Happy Birthday, Graham! We hope you know just how much you are valued around here. Thanks for bringing your humour, personality and plenty of memorable moments to the Arm in Arm crew. 🥳

👇 Let’s absolutely fill the comments for him. Drop a 🎂, 🧸 or a birthday message below and help us wish Graham a very Happy Birthday!

🎉 HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY DAVE! 🍻

A pretty special milestone today for the legend David Ross Hill, who turns the big 5-0.

This morning Chris, Kellie, Rohan, Vanessa and Sarah called in to spend a bit of time with Dave and help him celebrate his birthday.

Dave has been part of the Arm in Arm community for a long time, and over those years we’ve shared plenty of conversations, laughs, outings and memorable moments. Days like today are a good reminder that support work is ultimately about people, relationships and being there for the moments that matter.
50 years is a milestone worth celebrating, and it was great to see Tigger surrounded by some familiar faces this morning.

From all of us at Arm in Arm Support, our staff, participants and the wider Arm in Arm community:

Happy 50th Birthday, Dave. We hope you have a brilliant day. 🎂🎈

Drop Dave a Happy Birthday in the comments and help us make sure he knows just how many people are thinking of him today. ❤️

💛 Sometimes the smallest visitors make the biggest impact… 👶

On Tuesday at Café Pallet, we had a very special guest stop by.

Our wonderful Melissa popped in to say hello to the team, bringing along her gorgeous little boy Mason our Arm in Arm Junior….for his first visit to meet everyone. Safe to say he stole the show! ❤️

Watching our participants and staff light up as they took turns cuddling, chatting, feeding, and meeting him was something truly special. There was laughter, smiles, a few “baby experts” offering advice, and more than a handful of people who didn’t want to hand him back! 🍼😊

These are the moments you can’t put on a roster.

They’re not written into a support plan or listed in a schedule.

They’re simply moments of genuine human connection.

At Arm In Arm Support, we believe disability support is about so much more than appointments and routines. It’s about relationships, community, and creating opportunities for people to share in life’s everyday joys together.

Thank you, Melissa, for taking the time to introduce your little man to the Arm In Arm family. We absolutely loved meeting him, and we think he already has plenty of fans. 💙

What’s one small moment recently that made your whole week? We’d love to hear it below. 👇

Today was a strong reminder that community support does not need to be complicated to be meaningful.

Arm in Arm Support had the privilege of handing over care packs and 12 brand new sleeping bags to Serena and Mitch from YES Unlimited, to be distributed to people in our local community who need them most, including people sleeping rough and people experiencing hardship.

A heartfelt thank you to our participants Ellen, Vanessa, Nekitah, Graham and Toniah, who contributed to this initiative with kindness, care and genuine community spirit.

Thank you also to our Team Leader Kellie and her team for helping bring this together. This is the kind of work that reflects who we are at Arm in Arm Support: practical, human, local and grounded in dignity.

Thanks again to Tim and his team at PCYC Albury who are always on board to help the community.

These care packs are not just items in a bag. They represent warmth, hygiene, comfort and a small message to someone doing it tough that they have not been forgotten.

YES Unlimited continues to do vital work across Albury-Wodonga supporting people experiencing homelessness, housing stress, family violence and hardship.

Serena also shared that gift vouchers are currently especially helpful. Something as simple as a gift card can allow a parent to buy their child a birthday present, provide a small experience, or meet a need with dignity and choice.

If you are a local business, community member or organisation and you would like to help, please consider contacting YES Unlimited directly to ask how you can contribute.

Small acts matter. Local care matters. And when the community works together, support reaches the people who need it most.

👶💙 Welcome to the world, Mason! 💙👶

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with our Arm in Arm Support family.

A huge congratulations to our valued team member Melissa and her partner Zac on the safe arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Mason.

Mason has already stolen plenty of hearts, and we know he will bring endless joy, love, and unforgettable memories to his proud parents. This is such a special chapter for your family, and we couldn’t be happier for you both.

Please join us in wishing Zac, Mel, and baby Mason all the very best as they settle into life together and enjoy these precious newborn moments.

Welcome to the world, little Mason. Your greatest adventure has just begun. 💙✨

💚 Something pretty special happened this week.

While many people were thinking about what they needed, a group of our participants were busy thinking about what someone else might need.
Together, they rolled blankets, packed hygiene items, sorted winter essentials, filled care packs and prepared supplies that will soon make their way to people doing it tough across our community.

What started as a simple conversation has turned into dozens of care packs and an incredible display of kindness, generosity and teamwork.

A huge thank you to:

💙 Tim and the team at PCYC Albury for opening their doors and supporting the project

💚 The team at YES Unlimited, who will help ensure these items reach people who need them most

💚 Anaconda Albury, whose generous support helped us secure essential outdoor and winter items for the care packs

💚 Everyone who has donated items, shared our posts or contributed financially

Most of all, thank you to our participants.

You showed that making a difference doesn’t require a lot of money, special skills or recognition.

Sometimes it just starts with people willing to give up a few hours of their day to help complete strangers.

We’re still collecting cash donations to help us purchase additional sleeping bags, winter bedding and other essential items before distribution.

To keep the project manageable and ensure everything can be used immediately, we’re no longer accepting second-hand clothing or bedding.

The Arm in Arm Kindness Collective was created to bring people together for a good cause.

Looking around these tables, we’d say it’s doing exactly that.

💚 Local people helping local people.
