We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with our Arm in Arm Support family.

A huge congratulations to our valued team member Melissa and her partner Zac on the safe arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Mason.

Mason has already stolen plenty of hearts, and we know he will bring endless joy, love, and unforgettable memories to his proud parents. This is such a special chapter for your family, and we couldn’t be happier for you both.

Please join us in wishing Zac, Mel, and baby Mason all the very best as they settle into life together and enjoy these precious newborn moments.

💚 Something pretty special happened this week.

While many people were thinking about what they needed, a group of our participants were busy thinking about what someone else might need.
Together, they rolled blankets, packed hygiene items, sorted winter essentials, filled care packs and prepared supplies that will soon make their way to people doing it tough across our community.

What started as a simple conversation has turned into dozens of care packs and an incredible display of kindness, generosity and teamwork.

A huge thank you to:

💙 Tim and the team at PCYC Albury for opening their doors and supporting the project

💚 The team at YES Unlimited, who will help ensure these items reach people who need them most

💚 Anaconda Albury, whose generous support helped us secure essential outdoor and winter items for the care packs

💚 Everyone who has donated items, shared our posts or contributed financially

Most of all, thank you to our participants.

You showed that making a difference doesn’t require a lot of money, special skills or recognition.

Sometimes it just starts with people willing to give up a few hours of their day to help complete strangers.

We’re still collecting cash donations to help us purchase additional sleeping bags, winter bedding and other essential items before distribution.

To keep the project manageable and ensure everything can be used immediately, we’re no longer accepting second-hand clothing or bedding.

The Arm in Arm Kindness Collective was created to bring people together for a good cause.

Looking around these tables, we’d say it’s doing exactly that.

ARM IN ARM KINDNESS COLLECTIVE 💚

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be putting together care packs for vulnerable people doing it tough across Albury-Wodonga this winter.
We’re chasing donations of:

✔️ Tinned and non-perishable food
✔️ New Toiletries
✔️ Cup noodles and easy meals
✔️ NEW socks, gloves and beanies
✔️ Blankets and sleeping bags

PLEASE NOTE:
We are only accepting clean, useful and practical items. We unfortunately cannot accept junk, damaged goods or used clothing.

This week at Arm In Arm Support, we had plenty of reasons to celebrate 🎉💛

A huge happy birthday to our wonderful staff members Rohan, Scott, and Michelle 🥳

Last night we came together with staff, participants, friends, and family to celebrate Michelle’s birthday, sharing laughs, cake, great food, and what matters most… connection. Moments like these are such a beautiful reminder that Arm In Arm is more than just a workplace. We are a community.

To Rohan, Scott, and Michelle, thank you for the kindness, patience, humour, and care you bring each and every day. The positive impact you have on the lives of our participants does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Arm In Arm family.

Seeing everyone gathered around the table, celebrating together, is exactly what inclusion and community should look like 🤍

We hope all three of you had an amazing birthday week filled with love, laughter, and plenty of cake 🎂

There are moments in life that remind us what it’s all about… and today was one of them 🤍
We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone for one of our own, the amazing Melissa Riley, as she prepares to welcome her beautiful little one into the world 🍼✨
Surrounded by smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of love, it was clear just how much Melissa means to everyone here. The care, dedication, and heart she brings to her role every single day doesn’t go unnoticed. She is the kind of person who makes a difference in people’s lives simply by being who she is.
Melissa, thank you for everything you give to our participants, our team, and our community. You embody what Arm In Arm is all about 💛

We are so excited for this next chapter in your life and can’t wait to meet your little bundle of joy. You’re going to be an incredible mum.

Celebrating milestones like this is what it’s all about 💛

Last night we had the absolute privilege of celebrating Nekitah’s 20th birthday at the G-Rodge Pub, surrounded by an incredible group of people who genuinely care. From cake and candles to laughs, gifts and special moments, it was a night full of joy, connection and belonging.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about support, it’s about creating opportunities for people to feel valued, included and celebrated in their own lives.

Happy 20th Nekitah 🎉 We hope your night was as amazing as you are.

What a fantastic morning at the Easter Roll Up for a Cause at Café Pallet 🐣☕️
