Our mid-morning classes are the perfect way to reset your energy, move your body, and do something for YOU before the busyness of the day takes over.

Michelle has been a solid part of the team for the last 2 years, and you’ll usually find her on reception having a chat with everyone… or stopping you at the door if you haven’t swiped in yet 👀😂

She also makes a pretty great coffee ☕️

🚨 TECHNICAL TUESDAYS 🚨

Today’s focus: CLEAN & PRESS 🏋️‍♀️

I see way too many people swinging the bar instead of controlling the movement — this can lead to lower back pain and injuries.

✔️ Start with an upright row first — NOT a swing
✔️ Bend your knees as the bar reaches your collar bones
✔️ Press the bar overhead with control
✔️ Catch the bar back at your collar bones with soft knees again
✔️ Reset the bar down CLOSE to the body in a controlled reverse movement — NOT SWINGING AWAY FROM YOU!

The clean & press is used in multiple classes, so it’s important to learn how to execute it properly.

You’ll see these in:
• Body Pump
• Body Pump Heavy
• GRIT
• Edge Fit

Technique is one of my biggest priorities as a PT here, and I’d love to help you move safely and confidently 💪

As the seasons change, so does our timetable.

Over the last few months we’ve taken on board your feedback, reviewed class attendance, and made a few adjustments to help create the best experience possible for our community.

Please note:
✔️ Some class times have changed
✔️ A small number of sessions have been adjusted
✔️ These changes are seasonal and designed to best support our members and coaching team through winter

We appreciate everyone who continues to support, train, and grow with us. Our goal is always to create an environment that helps people move well, feel well, and stay consistent — especially during the colder months when routine matters most.

Let’s celebrate what success can look like from the Sunrise Sunset Challenge.

This is Ross.

Ross comes to us after years of FIFO work in the mines, operating highly specialised technical machinery — one of only a handful of people in Australia who does what he does at that level. I share this because Ross carries a mindset that reflects the world he’s worked in: disciplined, practical, focused, and someone who simply gets things done.

He’s recently retired and made the decision to finally bring the same level of commitment into his health and quality of life — something that had taken a back seat for many years while work came first.

Ross is the definition of practical. No fuss. No excuses. Just get in there and have a go.

What stands out most though, is his attitude. Ross always leads with positivity. Every “How are you?” is answered with:
“Great. Life is awesome.”

He genuinely sees the world through a different lens, and you feel better after talking to him. His words elevate people around him.

Over the years, I had tried to help Ross with his health journey, but work understandably outweighed everything else. This time feels different. This time he’s all in.

He’s given up smoking.
No drinking.
He’s shown up consistently to classes and pushed himself outside his comfort zone.

During this challenge, Ross strained his hamstring — but even that didn’t stop him. He simply adjusted and committed to walking instead.

That attitude is inspiring.

Ross, it has been incredible watching you transition into this next chapter of life — choosing to prioritise your health, your energy, and your wellbeing.

Thank you for being such an important part of this challenge and such a valued part of our community. We’re proud of you mate.
