Do you have an issue with coughing, is it annoying and persistent, is it worse with the increased stress and anxiety at the moment, and like me you are stuck at home right now .
These are uncertain times, and you are not failing if it is really starting to create fear, desperation and exhaustion in you
What is certain is that you can learn some simple techniques that are safe and natural to help your problem cough
What I have been doing is working with my own program to feel calm, confident and energised.
I haven’t had to do this for 10 years since attending a course for my chronic cough, but these are unusually stressful times, its amazing how stress has a major influence on your body and one thing that changes for everyone is their Breathing!
For me its has been great to be able to go back to basics and see the results of feeling calm, confident and energised again!
So I’ve created a 5 step program that I’m running in the next couple of weeks called the combat your cough program to help those of you with these issues
Some people have asked me what is the program all about , so over the 5 days I unpack 3 key areas: Awareness, activation and Alignment
I’ll walk you through the basics of the 3 key areas:
Firstly, becoming AWARE of what is happening to you and your body
I explain the fundamental background of what is happening in your body, and some basics that you need to change to start calming your cough and the irritation to your lungs.
Also, how to manage your annoying persistent cough. This takes you on a journey to gaining clarity, in why and how these changes may help your health overall
secondly ACTIVATING several different methods to help make these changes happen
I teach you how to make some simple changes to your bodies position, as well as some easy breathing exercises to start you on the pathway to better health ,this may results in better control of your cough and some of the stress you may be having .
You can tailor the activities to suit your specific needs and they can be performed at home.
thirdly ALIGNING your body to adapt to these changes for the long term
I guide you through coping with stress and poor sleep, as well as how your body can adapt to the changes over time.
With implementing all of the strategies I aim to give you some certainty in your life in regards to your health .I want you to be able to maintain these change for the long term.
Working through the key areas will lead to you feeling calm, confident and energised
