Free travel on trains, trams and buses in Victoria may have finished for the general public now that May is over... but travel for CARERS on Weekends is still free, STATEWIDE, and half-price Weekdays with your We Care Card (aka Victorian Carer Card).

If you support a person with a disability, public transport is free for you all the time, Statewide, with your Companion Card, when you accompany a person with disability.

But remember to carry your cards on you. 🪪

"How can we sleep while our beds are burning?"

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.

And if you are in a choir - the Voices for Reconciliation 2026 song is the classic land rights anthem, Beds Are Burning by Midnight Oil.
