🚨 FINAL NUMBERS ARE IN 🚨

Turns out even registering for a running event can be fashionably late 😏🏃‍♂️

Here’s where we’ve landed…

Half Marathon – 264
10km – 201
5km – 202
3km – 102
1km Kids Run – 106

TOTAL RUNNERS = 871 🤯🔥

Not bad for year one hey?!

And check out the catchment area! Runners coming from all over Australia. We’ve even got someone travelling from Western Australia… Now we’re not sure if they thought the race was in Armadale 😅 Or if they just wanted to visit the best “Dale” in the country.

Either way… we’ll take it!

Here’s something pretty cool to think about 👇

No matter the distance… The first person to cross the line will become the official course record holder and forever be able to say they won the INAUGURAL Armidale Running Festival for their distance… does the same apply for the first DNF of each event 🤔🏆

Regardless it’s a pretty cool bit of history to be part of

Ok guys… it’s getting real! 😦🔥

With race weekend just around the corner, here’s the official weekend run sheet to help you plan your time, be prepared, and make sure you can experience everything we’ve got happening across the festival.

There’s plenty going on across the two days and we want everyone to be able to soak it all in — from the races themselves to the atmosphere around the Creeklands.

We honestly can’t wait to see you all next weekend!

Entries are officially CLOSED 🎉, so we thought we’d take a fun little dive into the numbers from our very first Armidale Running Festival…

And wow… you’ve absolutely blown us away ❤️

We’ve got 433 females and 401 males — the girls taking the win on this one 😉

Runners under 18 — 244
Oldest runner — 82 years young 🙌
Youngest runner — 8 months (might take a little while to finish 😂)

🌏 Now for the big one…
If every runner completes their event, together we’ll cover a MASSIVE
👉 8,552.9 km 👈
That’s basically the distance from Armidale to London 😅✈️

For a first-year event, these numbers are honestly incredible, and it’s all because of this amazing community. Thank you for backing us, believing in the event, and getting around something new

🚨 ENTRY EXTENSION 🚨

We’ve been given the opportunity to extend entries — so of course we’re taking it 🙌

Entries are now open until Wednesday at 9:00am.

If you know someone who thought they missed out or simply forgot, give them a nudge and let them know there’s still time to jump in 🏃‍♂️

👕 Race day shirts will remain available online until Thursday the 12th at 5:00pm, so make sure you get your kit sorted.
