Speech Pathologist | 12-month maternity leave contract | 0.6 FTE

📍 Ashford, SA | 🧠 Brain injury & neuro rehab

We’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at ONE Rehabilitation Service, supporting people with brain injury, stroke, concussion and neurological conditions to reconnect, communicate and participate in life again.

This role would suit either an early career or experienced Speech Pathologist who is interested in meaningful neurorehabilitation work, with structured onboarding, tailored supervision, peer mentoring and the support of a highly experienced speech pathology team.

Hiring Psychologist— Neuro Rehab

Looking for psychology work that feels meaningful, supported and genuinely connected?

At ONE Rehabilitation Service, you’ll work with people rebuilding life after brain injury, stroke, concussion and neurological conditions, supported by a warm interdisciplinary team across Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Social Work and Psychology.

This role is ideal for a psychologist who wants more than just a caseload. You’ll have structured onboarding, supervision, mentoring, a gradual caseload build, strong referral pathways and the chance to grow your clinical interests in areas such as adjustment, identity, trauma and Positive Behaviour Support.

What you’ll love:
• Meaningful neuro rehab work
• Genuine team support and collaboration
• Salaried role. FTE Negotiable
• Purpose-built Ashford clinic + community work
• Regular supervision, PD and mentoring
• No weekends or public holidays
• Warm, social and down-to-earth team culture

An interest in Positive Behaviour Support is desirable, but not essential - we’re more interested in finding the right person who is curious, values growth and wants to make a meaningful difference.

We don’t just support recovery. We reimagine it.

Proud to support a milestone moment for Huntington’s disease care in Australia, right here in Adelaide!

Some of the ONE Rehab team were pleased to attend Huntington’s Australia’s first National Conference, held in Adelaide.

It was a valuable opportunity to bring together clinicians, researchers, services, families and advocates to share knowledge, strengthen connections and explore ways to improve support for people impacted by Huntington’s disease.

We were proud to sponsor such a significant event, especially in our home city, and to be part of a conference filled with meaningful conversations, current research and highly informative content for clinicians working in neurological rehabilitation.

A big congratulations to Huntington’s Australia on this milestone national conference. We look forward to continuing to learn, collaborate and contribute to better outcomes for individuals and families living with Huntington’s disease.

Life after brain injury, stroke, or a neurological condition throws a lot at you all at once — and not all of it is about rehab.

Our Social Worker Mary is here for the parts that don’t fit neatly into a therapy session.
