You must watch this! And share it with the women in your life who are mid 30 and older. Menopause is a transition a phase of life every person born with ovaries will experience. It can last a third of our lives! And some say once we have reached it, we are forever in it. Some cultures in the world honour with pride and respect this stage of life. I don’t believe our western culture here does. Let’s change that conversation. Be your own health advocate. Educate yourself and ask questions. Don’t just accept or be gaslit. There are gaps in knowledge (because of lack of appropriate research) and in the solutions and help on offer for us (because unless you’re a doctor or health professional who chooses to be a women’s health specialist, you’re not taught about menopause).
Start here. And then keep learning about this incredible phase of our lives. Feel empowered as you age. Don’t settle. With love. Anita xx
