Hello independent HR leaders and employment consultants 👋

Recent employment law shifts and rising psychosocial risk demands are forcing organizations to move away from fluffy counselling programs toward defensible, evidence-based risk management.

At Thoughtful Movement, we combine corporate psychology and medicolegal experience to manage psychosocial WHS risk. We are seeking to form meaningful partnerships directly with independent HR leaders internationally to deliver a complete service to these regulatory pressures through our core service suite:

WHS Risk Mitigation & Corporate Advisory: Systematic psychosocial risk audits and corrective action support, de-identified board reporting, and manager duty of care escalation support.

Targeted Corporate Training: Interactive manager and leadership workshops such as psychosocial hazard control, vicarious trauma, and WHS obligations.

EAP & Workplace Psychology: Confidential, evidence based support delivered by a Registered Psychologist, paired with structured digital learning resources for workforce resilience and improvement.

Workplace Assessment & Medicolegal Readiness: Objective Fitness for Duty assessments and desktop clinical file reviews to resolve complex workplace escalations.

How the Partnership Works:

15% Client Discount: Your clients receive our complete annual suite for $9,500 + GST (public retail rate is $11,200 + GST).
Reciprocal Referral Pipeline: We regularly consult with corporate clients facing complex employment relations disputes or restructuring, and we actively route these organizations to our preferred independent HR partners.

Zero Administrative Load: We manage all clinical workflows, reporting, and portal access directly, giving your practice a turn key, defensible risk mitigation arm.

How are you currently managing the clinical and medicolegal side of psychosocial risk compliance for your client accounts?

Is your NDIS business fully compliant with mandatory psychosocial WHS laws?

Over 70% of NDIS support workers experience severe burnout or psychological injury from unmanaged workplace hazards. Regulators are actively prosecuting this, with recent WHS enforcement handing providers fines exceeding $380,000 and total corporate penalties climbing past $1.8M for failing to systematically manage these risks.
Under strict safety laws, failing to audit and control psychological harm isn’t just an HR issue, it is a direct legal liability for your business.

How is your organization currently auditing and documenting psychosocial hazards to stay legally protected?

With over a decade of experience in business psychology and medicolegal matters, I help NDIS providers build compliant, defensible risk frameworks that shield the business from regulatory action.

I’ll send over my psychosocial compliance model so you can see how we protect the business against these legal risks. Take a look and let me know your thoughts in the comments or drop me a DM!

Ignoring psychosocial risks is no longer just a culture issue. It is a multi-hundred-thousand-dollar legal landmine.

National workplace safety data reveals a stark reality:

Mental health compensation claims have surged by 161% over the last decade, growing at six times the rate of physical injury claims.

The average compensation payout for a psychological injury claim sits at $67,400—with complex cases now exceeding $280,000 in total operational and legal costs.

Psychological claims result in a median of 35.7 weeks off work—nearly five times longer than physical injuries.

Under modern Work Health and Safety laws, directors and HR leaders face strict statutory obligations to identify and actively mitigate psychosocial hazards. Standard EAPs that offer basic, off-site counselling do not protect your business from compliance audits or legal liability. They simply react after an injury has already occurred.

Thoughtful Movement delivers a complete, evidence-based Psychosocial Risk Governance & Business Protection Framework.

We solve the compliance, financial, and operational risks facing executive teams through a single, seamless solution:

Psychosocial Hazard Audits & Risk Assessments: Diagnostic evaluations that pinpoint workplace stress drivers, duty-of-care vulnerabilities, and WHS compliance gaps before they trigger claims.

Executive HR & Medico-Legal Consultation: Expert psychological consulting for leadership teams handling complex fitness-for-work cases, high-risk performance management, and workplace escalations.

Audit-Ready WHS Documentation: Comprehensive diagnostic reporting and objective metrics that demonstrate active statutory compliance to regulatory bodies.

Evidence-Based Workplace Interventions: Strategic, targeted programs that resolve workplace friction, reduce turnover, and build leadership capability.

Included Clinical Crisis Access: Direct support access for your workforce to ensure immediate risk mitigation at zero additional cost per session.

Instead of navigating unpredictable hourly consulting fees or reacting to costly workers' compensation claims, our framework operates under a single, fixed-fee annual retainer.
You get senior registered psychologists safeguarding your operations, insulating your executive team from liability, and protecting your bottom line.

Is your business fully audit-ready for psychosocial risk legislation?

Stop risking WHS breaches: Get a turnkey Psychosocial Hazard & Positive Duty Compliance Package for your practice or clients.

Under the current WHS Psychosocial Risk Regulations and the AHRC’s Positive Duty mandates, reliance on an old EAP policy or an annual 15-minute e-learning module is no longer legally sufficient.

Regulators are actively auditing businesses on how they identify, control, and prevent psychosocial hazards, from workload stress and role ambiguity to sexual harassment, bullying, and hostile work environments.

For corporate consultancies, HR agencies, and leadership practices, delivering robust, evidence-based compliance training to your corporate clients can take 40+ hours of clinical research and instructional design.

I am offering a complete, Turnkey Corporate Compliance & Training Suite designed by a Registered Business Psychologist:

The Package Includes:

Executive & Leader Training Deck (60–90 Mins): Fully editable, high-impact slides covering 2026 WHS Psychosocial Hazard duties, AHRC Positive Duty standards, and manager risk controls.

Manager & Participant Workbook: Practical exercises, hazard identification checklists, and action-planning frameworks for team leaders.

Facilitator Script & Delivery Guide: Step-by-step talking points, scenario case studies, and Q&A handling notes so your team can deliver it seamlessly under your brand.
White-Label License: Rebrand, edit, and deliver it to unlimited corporate clients under your firm's branding.

💳 Investment: Flat rate of $1,950 AUD (Instant B2B White-Label Rights).

To maintain exclusivity, I am only licensing this custom-aligned package to 3 agencies/firms this month.

📩 How to claim: Comment "COMPLIANCE" below or send a Direct Message to review the detailed syllabus and request an invoice.

Attention business owners. Psychosocial compliance is no longer optional, and the courts have made it clear they are coming after businesses that ignore workplace psychological risks and hazards. 🚨

The Commonwealth Department of Defence was fined $188,000 simply for failing to manage the psychological hazards of a routine performance review. Public sector authorities face penalties exceeding $700,000 for failing to protect high stress staff. Meanwhile, medium scale enterprises caught by WorkSafe and SafeWork are facing direct regulatory fines between $50,000 and $250,000, and that is before workers compensation payout multipliers completely crush your bottom line. ⚖️📉

It is time to protect what you built. 🛡️

As a seasoned business psychologist and corporate advisor who has spent years helping leaders navigate complex organizational risk, I know exactly where these blind spots hide and how to fix them before regulators find them.

You have nothing to lose by checking your exposure today. What makes a good expert witness?

It's a risk! Putting someone into a case comes with risk. Will they present evidence in a way that strongly supports your case? Will they withstand cross-examination?
In this field, reputation is everything, and legal teams put themselves on the line when selecting expert witnesses.

I get it. I've seen expert witnesses make or break cases many times. With how much importance it carries, what is it that makes the perfect expert witness?

For me, this is what it comes down to:

1. Everything backed by evidence.
The assessment you choose? Why this one and not another? How is it valid and reliable, and how does it support the opinion you formed? The way you interpreted the results. Your recommendations. The claims you make. All of it. You need to have the strongest evidence-based record of proven research for everything you do and say. You must reference it and be prepared to explain it in detail. A lot of being an expert witness is about critically analyzing research and gathering it in an undeniable way. Justification comes from evidence-based evaluation.

2. Imagining you are the opposing counsel.
How would you discredit yourself? Find the gaps in your own work. How would you argue against your findings? What research goes against your claims? And then, you fill those gaps. You identify and strengthen any weaknesses so you are prepared to answer the difficult questions with strength and confidence.

3. Checking. Checking. And more checking.
We all witnessed a psychiatrist fall to pieces on the stand over a misplaced comma in a recent trial. Fact-checking, grammar checking, check everything!

4. The language you use and the knowledge you have.
Be prepared to verbalize your knowledge. "I don't recall" or "to the best of my knowledge" is weak. It's your job as an expert to know all angles and to answer all questions related to your work, claims, and area of expertise. Research, prepare, and know your stuff. Prepare your language to verbalize your claims: "There is a clear explanation found in repetitive research conducted over...".

I value the legal network I'm building here at Thoughtful Movement. Together we can produce higher-quality work! Be sure to follow us on LinkedIn.

Please comment: What are the top things that expert witnesses should or should not do?
