💜 NEED A SUPPORT WORKER TO COVER A ONE-OFF SHIFT? 💜

Cozee Care has some Monday–Friday availability from 7am to assist with one-off or occasional shift coverage in the Mackay area.

This isn’t about replacing someone’s regular support worker — it’s simply an extra pair of reliable hands when needed. 💜

Perhaps your usual support worker:
• is unwell or unavailable
• is taking some well-earned leave or a holiday
• needs a break
• has an appointment or unexpected commitment
• or you simply have a gap in your roster that needs covering.

We may be able to step in and assist with appointments, shopping, community access, cooking/meal preparation and household tasks, depending on the participant’s individual needs and support requirements.

Whether it’s planned ahead or an unexpected gap, please feel welcome to reach out and see if we’re available.

🌈 A Rainbow to Start the Day 🌈

As I arrived at work this morning, I looked up and was greeted by this beautiful rainbow stretching across the sky.

For many people, a rainbow is simply a stunning display of nature. But for me, it’s also a reminder that even after the darkest storms, there is always light waiting on the other side. 💜

Life has a way of bringing us challenges, uncertainty, heartbreak, and lessons we never asked for. Yet somehow, through it all, we keep moving forward, we keep growing, and we keep finding reasons to hope.

A rainbow reminds us that:
✨ Storms don’t last forever.
✨ Beauty can emerge from difficult seasons.
✨ There is always something to be grateful for.
✨ New beginnings often follow life’s hardest moments.

Today, I choose to see this rainbow as a little reminder from the universe to trust the journey, embrace the lessons, and keep looking for the light.

One of the things we absolutely love at Cozee Care is supporting our clients with personalised meal preparation in their own homes — creating meals that are comforting, nutritious, budget friendly, and suited to their individual needs.

Today’s kitchen was filled with delicious aromas, laughter, and teamwork while preparing a hearty home-cooked meal 🥕🌽🧅🌭

✨ ONE YEAR AGO TODAY ✨

One year ago today my beautiful girl left Brisbane hospital after spending 2 long years there.

A private medical plane flew her home to Mackay so she could finally begin living life on her own terms again. 💜

At the time there were so many emotions…
hope, fear, excitement, uncertainty…

But mostly there was one thing…

✨FREEDOM✨

Fast forward 12 months and although there have been a few hiccups along the way, today she is THRIVING. 🙌

She’s building a life.
Making memories.
Getting out into the community.
Laughing more.
Living more.
And learning that life can still be beautiful after the hardest seasons. 💫

And of course little Kevy has been right there beside her every step of the way 🐾💜

Sometimes people don’t realise how much the “little things” matter…
A trip to the park.
Fresh air.
Companionship.
Independence.
A dog by your side.
Feeling human again.

Because everyone deserves the chance to live their best life — no matter what challenges they face. 💜

We are so incredibly proud of you beautiful girl.
Look how far you’ve come in just one year. 🌻
