The Bowen Community is very sad that someone has taken the Tom Bowen memorial statue. It means a lot to us.😢

The theft of Healing Hands, the bronze sculpture honouring Tom Bowen in Geelong, has been felt by Bowen Therapists around the world. Ron Phelan donated this sculpture to Geelong and the Bowen community in 2002.

For many of us, this statue is more than a piece of public art. It represents the history of our profession, the legacy of Tom Bowen, and the connection we share as a global community.

Big news for the Bowen community!

The B-EAGER Initiative has been featured in the latest Massage & Myotherapy Australia Journal (Vol. 23, Issue 2).

The article showcases how B-EAGER is helping strengthen the Bowen profession through research, evidence-informed practice and the routine use of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).

This is an important step in raising the profile of Bowen Therapy and sharing its impact with a wider audience, while supporting the continued growth and professionalism of our industry.

Together, we're building a stronger evidence base for Bowen.

The Natural Therapy Expert Advisory Review Panel has completed its investigation into reinstating health fund rebates for complementary therapies.

Their report is due to reach Health and Aged Care Minister Mark Butler by the end of the year.

We’ve sent Minister Butler a letter highlighting Bowen's impact and the need for health fund rebates to support both practitioners and clients.
