🌀Female support workers needed ( participants request)🌀

We're building a dedicated support team for a female participant adjusting to recent vision loss, and cognitive decline due to recent stroke. Seeking kind, patient, and proactive support workers to provide daily assistance at home and in the community while promoting safety, confidence, and independence. Due to a recent medical episode her needs have increased and we need to add supports to her current care. Need to love animals including horses. These supports will be 8 hours a day 7 days a week and a regular roster will be put in place.

LOCATION: Sorrento

TIMES: 9am til 6pm daily. 7 days per week

Essential criteria:

• Being Trauma-Informed

• NDIS Workers Screening

• Drivers Licence and Car

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’

• First Aid and CPR

• Have or are willing to obtain WWC

🌀LOOKING FOR A MATURE MALE SUPPORT WORKER🌀

Looking for a MALE support worker to assist with social and home supports for a male participant. Tasks may include help around the home or community participation. Participant is looking for someone with good banter and an understanding around CPTSD and stroke. Preferably a mature male willing to join in tasks and an understanding around mental health.

LOCATION: Kalamunda

Times: flexible but preferably 10-2pm daily.

Professional development isn’t just a “nice to have”, it’s essential when working with NDIS participants.

As providers, we support participants with diverse needs, goals, and lived experiences. Ongoing learning ensures we stay up to date with best practices, compliance requirements, and most importantly, how to deliver high quality, person-centred support.

Recently, Sylvia (Company Director) and Danielle (HR & Participant Admin) attended training with WAAMH to deepen their understanding of vicarious trauma. This is an important step in ensuring we not only support participants but also prioritise the wellbeing of our team.

Today marks 3 incredible years of Labyrinth Supports providing care, connection, and meaningful support within our community.

We want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of this journey, our amazing participants, our dedicated and compassionate support workers, and all the families and friends who trust us every day. Your support, encouragement, and commitment are what make Labyrinth Supports so special.

The photos we’ve shared are just a small glimpse of some of the wonderful moments we’ve experienced together this year. The laughter, achievements, adventures, and everyday wins that mean so much. These moments remind us why we love what we do.
