A room filled with people who have been part of our story for years some from almost the very beginning.

To celebrate the launch of RedTouch Pro and this milestone for Clinica Lase, we invited some of our longest-standing clients to join us for a beautiful sit-down dinner at Panama Dining.

After 16 years in business, it was incredibly special to look around the room and see so many familiar faces. Clients who have trusted us with their skin, supported our growth and grown alongside us. We truly would not be here without you.

With just two weeks to go before welcoming little Ollie Ray, our founder Crystal hosted the evening and shared why this next chapter and celebrating it with the people who have been part of the Clinica Lase story meant so much to her.

The evening was centred around collagen banking and the many ways we can support healthy ageing. We explored how technologies such as RedTouch Pro can stimulate collagen from the outside with Matt from High Tech Medical , while CHIZA WESTCARR shared the importance of supporting our skin and overall health from within.

We were also joined by Rebecca Maddern, who has been a long-standing client and supporter of Clinica Lase herself. Bec brought a little beauty and fun to the evening, helping us all find the perfect lip duo with her new brand CheatBeauty.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guest speakers High Tech Medical, CHIZA WESTCARR and Rebecca Maddern and to iS CLINICAL AUSTRALIA & NZ, CheatBeauty and Grow Haircare for making our goodie bags extra special.

A beautiful evening celebrating a new chapter with so many of the people who helped us build the last 16 years.

A little throwback to the time Samara finally convinced Crystal to remove the freckles she’d had her entire life.

After spending years covering them with makeup, she decided it was time to see what her skin looked like without them and a few years later, she still has zero regrets.

To target the freckles, we used Pico laser technology. The treatment delivers ultra-short pulses of energy into the skin, breaking unwanted pigment into tiny particles that the body can gradually clear. The pigment will often darken initially before it begins to shed and fade over the following weeks.

There are different forms of Pico treatment, and not all pigmentation or skin is treated in the same way. The wavelength, settings and treatment approach need to be carefully selected based on the type and depth of pigment, your skin type and how your skin responds.

Freckles can return over time, particularly with sun exposure, but with the right home care a good pigment inhibitor and SPF at an absolute minimum along with ongoing maintenance, they can be effectively managed.

Considering treating unwanted pigmentation? Book a consultation so we can assess your skin and determine whether Pico is right for you.

Meet Sophie, the newest addition to our Ballarat team.

Samara sat down with our new Client Experience Coordinator to get to know the person behind the front desk.

You’ll be seeing plenty more of Sophie around the clinic, so make sure you say hello when you’re next in!

Fraxel or CO₂ - what’s actually the difference?

Although both treatments work fractionally, they create very different responses within the skin.

A 1540nm Fraxel laser is non-ablative. It delivers controlled columns of heat beneath the surface while leaving the outermost layer of skin intact. It can be a great option for concerns such as texture, pigmentation, fine lines and acne scarring, generally with less downtime.

Fractional CO₂ is ablative. It creates microscopic channels in the skin by removing controlled columns of tissue, producing a more intensive wound-healing and remodelling response. Depending on how it is performed, it can target deeper textural concerns, wrinkles and more established scarring but usually involves more downtime.

Neither is automatically “better.” The right choice depends on your skin, the concern being treated, the result you’re hoping to achieve and the recovery you can realistically commit to.

In tonight’s video, we break down how each laser works and why two people with a similar concern may still require completely different treatment plans.

Acne is rarely just one concern and that means the treatment is rarely just one thing.

For this client, we first focused on calming the active, inflamed acne. Once that was under control, we could begin addressing the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation it had left behind, followed by the uneven texture.

Each concern required a different approach, treated in the right order and at the right time.

This is why one session of one treatment is rarely the complete solution. Skin concerns are often layered, and meaningful change comes from understanding what needs to be treated first and building from there.

Want in-clinic treatments but don’t want to use skincare at home?

Your routine doesn’t need to be complicated, it can be as simple or as comprehensive as you like. What matters most is using the right products, with the right ingredients, to support what we’re doing in clinic and help achieve better long-term outcomes.

Khloe explains why homecare is such an important part of any treatment plan and shares one of her personal favourites: iS CLINICAL AUSTRALIA & NZ Pro-Heal Serum Advance+.

At almost 32, Chloe isn’t trying to dramatically change her skin—she simply wants to keep it as healthy as possible as she gets older.

For this treatment, we used fractional CO₂ across her face, including directly over the upper and lower eyelids. Ocular shields were inserted so we could safely treat the eye area, with the settings adjusted for each part of the face.

Come along as Chloe takes you through her treatment and the first seven days of recovery.

XERF is everywhere at the moment - but how does it actually compare to ONDA PRO?

Marketing is incredibly important for any business or product, and it plays a huge role in which treatments we see trending online. But popularity doesn’t necessarily mean a treatment is the most suitable option for your individual concerns.

While XERF and ONDA PRO can both improve skin laxity, they use completely different forms of energy and don’t necessarily address the same things.

In this video, we explain the differences between the two and why choosing a device should always come down to what you actually need treated, not which name you have seen the most on social media.
