The face says it all!!

Back in early May his mobility scooter was stolen whilst parked out the front of a shop in the Bridge Mall. A disgusting act, but we'll keep our thoughts on these individuals respectable on here and focus on the positives!

HE GOT IT BACK!!

Big shout out to Rivergum Allied Therapies for their finest detective work and kept it safe until we could collect today!

Australia has lost an incredible leader with the passing of Neale Daniher. His courage, humour and determination in the face of Motor Neurone Disease inspired millions across the country.

Neale turned his own diagnosis into a national movement of hope and action. Through FightMND and the iconic Big Freeze, he helped raise vital awareness and funding for research, support services and families living with MND. His impact has changed lives and will continue to do so for generations.

Today, we honour Neale’s legacy — his strength, his advocacy and the way he brought Australians together for a cause bigger than himself.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and the entire MND community.
Rest peacefully, Neale. Your fight lives on.

Meet The Team

Introducing our amazing Quality and Compliance Coordinator Brooke.

Brooke began her career in disability as a support worker and it quickly became clear she had the capability to contribute far beyond frontline support. Brooke transitioned into the office, where she now plays an integral role in strengthening our processes, systems and overall service quality.

Brooke oversees audits, documentation, incident monitoring and alignment with NDIS practice standards. She drives continuous improvement by translating sector updates into practical changes and strengthening systems across the organisation. Her detail‑focused approach enhances governance, consistency and overall service quality.

💙Do It For Dolly💙

Today May 8th is "Do It For Dolly Day" and Go Blue to end bullying across schools, workplaces, sports clubs and communities. A day where Australians come together in blue to raise awareness, spark conversations and support young people impacted by bullying.

In January 2018, Dolly took her own life at just 14 years of age, following an extended period of bullying and cyber-bullying. Her passing shocked Australia and started a conversation about the devastating impact of bullying.

At Calacare we stand with strong with the community to stamp out this behaviour and support our youth, participants, parents and carers in changing the narrative.

Thank you to Curbside Coffee Cafe in Sebastopol for supplying the Delicious blue iced doughnuts, you guys are doing an amazing at raising awareness! 💙💙

We love supporting local business and i guess you could say we're frequent flyers at Tim's Toasties.

But on a wet, cold Ballarat day they absolutely hit different. If you haven't had one yet do yourself a favour, don't live with regret of never having tried a Tim's Toastie.

Thanks to Tim Bone and the team for keeping our bellies full and warm!
