💙𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤💙

Men are still dying far too early, from preventable physical health issues, silent mental health struggles and crises that go unspoken. This week is a reminder to slow down, check in and put your health first.

A simple check‑up with your doctor can save your life. Early detection matters. Your well-being matters.

Look out for your mates, hold a safe space to have the tough conversations and encourage each other to reach out when things feel heavy.

At Calacare, we’re proud to support the men within our team and the men we walk alongside in our community. Your health — physical, mental and emotional is important to us.

If you or someone you know needs support, these services are here to help:

📞 Lifeline: 13 11 14
📞 Beyond Blue: 1300 22 46 36
📞 MensLine Australia: 1300 78 99 78
📞 13Yarn 13 96 76 (for Aboriginal & Torres
Strait Islander people)

Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.

**UPDATE** Our new friend was chipped and owners have been contacted who were beside themselves! It appear Freida, a ridgeback cross had decided to take her self on a little excursion for the arvo! We're so happy to have found her owners and will be back home to tell everyone about her journey and how there was so many people making a big fuss of her and she didn't know why. 😜

One of our amazing support workers found this gorgeous girl running loose on Latrobe St Delacombe. She is so adorable and friendly and as much as we'd love to keep her as the next Calacare mascot shes on her way to the vets to be scanned and hopefully find her owners.
