From the drafts... always packing snacks everywhere I go

Springhill Farm congratulations on winning the 2026 Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Award and Manufacturing and Primary Production Award. Great work!

Be organised I tell my clients, but not organised myself 🤣

Food questions like these come up all the time.

Here's your reminder: you don't need to keep score with food. Working towards your goals and enjoying food can exist at the same time.

3 things I discussed with my client last week…

1. Keep a ready-made meal in the freezer for those nights when life gets busy.

2. Add frozen peas, carrots and corn to meals to boost your veggie and fibre intake.

3. If you know you'll be starving after work, plan ahead. This client travels for work and has a 1 hour 15 minute drive home, so we discussed keeping an insulated lunch bag with convenient snacks (like a squeeze yoghurt and muesli bar) to bridge the gap until dinner and make it easier to stay on track with their nutrition goals.

Please don't eat while driving. These ideas are intended for when you can safely stop and have a snack.

The truth is, the longer I stayed away from social media, the harder it felt to come back.
You know when you don't reply to a text straight away, and before you know it, weeks have gone by? Suddenly, replying feels more awkward than just leaving it. That's exactly how coming back to social media felt.

I'd love to know... what's something you've put off because it felt harder the longer you left it?

Apparently disappearing from Facebook for 18 months is enough to warrant an interrogation. 😅
After 18 months of radio silence, I figured I at least owed you an explanation...
Part 1 is here, and yes, Joel took his role as the interrogator far too seriously.

🎬 Part 2 coming soon...
