💗A Little Farewell Before a Beautiful New Bub 🩵

Next Tuesday, 28th June, will be Teish's final day with us before she heads off on maternity leave to welcome her second baby. 👶

While we're so excited for her and this special new chapter for her family, we're definitely going to miss having her around the clinic cracking jokes and having the biggest emotional support water bottle you've ever seen!

Teish has been a special part of the Skin Nation team, this year marks 7 years together and we're incredibly grateful for the care and dedication she brings to both our clients and team.

40 ✨

A couple of weeks ago I celebrated my 40th birthday surrounded by my family, friends, my beautiful Skin Nation team and so many incredible people in my life who have supported me over the years. I was honestly blown away by the love, the messages, the gifts and the most beautiful bouquet of flowers I think I have ever seen from a family who means so much to me. We absolutely love taking care of you all 🫶

This year also marks 20 official years in the beauty industry for me, (it was in my blood from a young age) and in August, 13 years since I opened the doors to Skin Nation.

Sometimes I sit back and think about how wild that really is!!

I opened the salon when I was two months away from giving birth to my second baby, with an 17 month old at home. I had no idea where the journey would take me, only that I had a vision and a whole lot of determination!

Since then, there have been incredible highs, exhausting lows, long days, tears, fear, growth and moments where I questioned everything. I survived a pandemic. I rebuilt and rebranded. I went to the Auction of a mound of dirt, with no finance confirmed bust a massive vision. I created Skin Nation from the ground up, literally from the rubble of an old burnt-down fish and chip shop.

And somehow, what started as a dream became something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

What I’m most proud of though isn’t just the business itself. It’s the people. The team standing beside me. The clients who have trusted us for years. The relationships, conversations, confidence and community that has been built inside these walls. We all feel like family and that exactly what i wanted!!

Skin Nation has never just been about skin. It’s about people feeling seen, supported and confident in themselves no matter what!

To every single person who has supported me over the years, thank you. I don’t take any of it for granted.

The Exosomes Youth Boost always goes on last, after all of your other serums and before your moisturiser. Exosomes are delicate messenger molecules that need a stable, clear surface to absorb properly. Applying them last protects their integrity and allows them to do their job without interference.

There are two exceptions to keep in mind.

If you're using the Brightening Serum or the Pore Refining Serum.. both of which contain hydroxy acids.. wait five minutes before applying your Exosomes. Hydroxy acids temporarily lower the skin's pH, and exosomes applied onto an acid-active surface can break down before they absorb. Five minutes is all it takes to protect them.

If you use the B² Hydrating Serum, apply it before your Exosomes — not after. The B² has a specific molecular structure that needs direct skin contact to pe*****te correctly. Applying it first ensures both products absorb fully and work at their best.

So in short
