The Patch News: June 2026

June has officially brought winter! ❄️ The winter winds have arrived, so staying rugged up is a must 🧥🌬️

The garlic is growing strongly 🧄, while the citrus trees 🍊 are just beginning their harvest season.

We even braved the chill (with gloves and caution!) to pick some seriously hot chillies, along with the last of the late-season berries 🍓 — delicious!
🌸 And to brighten the colder days, the winter blooms are putting on a show, especially the beautiful camellias in full flower.

The barn yard looks like everyone has lost their feathers, the moulting finished and feathers flying in the wind.

Every person connected to Auscare Support deserves to feel safe, welcomed, respected and free to be themselves. This Pride Month, we are shining a light on our new "Inclusion Matters" initiative.

It is a commitment we have been living out all year. We went Go Rainbow for IDAHOBIT, applied to ACON's Welcome Here project, and we are embedding LGBTQIA+ safety into everything we do, from recruitment to service delivery. This month, we are proud to bring that to Sydney's first Q***r Careers Expo on 12 June, as an inclusive NDIS provider.

Because inclusion isn't a moment on the calendar. It's how people feel every time they walk through our doors.
