Just a reminder... we are a small business that is run by myself. I make all the products (often to order), package the products, collect the ingredients, take orders to the courier/post office, do the accounts, website management, social media... to mention but a few of the tasks involved in a business such as ours ❤️ All while also working ‘part time’ (🤣 iykyk) as a primary school teacher 🙈

We send your orders out, whether via courier/post or to your local stockfeeder as quickly as we can, but I also have two children, many fur kids and a property so there are only so many hours in the day!

For this reason, orders are typically sent on Monday and Tuesday of each week, so please do consider the timeline when you order 👍 We also typically only send tracking details with the perishable products, but if you would like tracking for your powdered products please just ask and I am happy to send it to you 👍

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me they protect their horse’s stomach before riding with lucerne chaff… I’d be very rich indeed! 😂

But here’s the thing, right…

If lucerne chaff was enough to protect the stomach from acid splash, why do we still see so many competition horses with squamous ulcers — those in the upper part of the stomach, typically associated with acid exposure during exercise?

Don’t get me wrong — I always give my horses some chaff and access to hay before work. But for me, that’s only part of the picture, especially if the horse has a particularly sensitive tummy (Yes, I am thinking of my beautiful Midnight here. ❤️ May he rest in peace.)

So, I add something special to that little feed of chaff I give my horse while I’m grooming and tacking up — something specifically designed to support the stomach lining.

I use either our **Equine Pre-Work Bars** or **Digestive Support Elixir**.

Gosh preferred the Pre-Work Bars — super easy to feed when we’re out on the road. Midnight, on the other hand, thought the elixir was so delicious he would happily drink it out of a bowl like a cat! 😂 And yes, I do have video proof!

Which one you choose really depends on your system and your horse.

But if your horse has a sensitive tummy, please consider giving them a little extra support..

Sometimes we need to question what we’ve always done and ask whether there might be a better way.

Developing our Magnesium Magic was an absolute game changer for my horses.

Gosh is now over 30 years old, and over the years I’ve become increasingly aware of how much difference the right nutritional support can make to an individual horse.

Magnesium is an important mineral for horses and can be deficient in some diets here in Western Australia, but for me, the magic is in the combination.

Our Magnesium Magic combines magnesium oxide, B vitamins and whey powder — simple, but very effective. I recommend starting with the loading dose for a month or two and in the lead up to stressful events 🤫

Every horse is different, of course, but trust me when I say you’ll soon know whether it’s a good fit for yours.

Sometimes it’s the little changes that make the biggest difference. ❤️

If you’ve followed my page for a while, you’ll know that I’m also mum to the best Border Collie, our dog Maverick.

He turns 9 this year — we got him as a puppy just a few months after Harry was born — and although he still absolutely LOVES playing ball and heading out on the trails, he is really starting to slow down.

It hurts my heart to see him looking a bit sore and stiff in the evenings. 😢

So I’ve decided it’s time to start giving him our Canine Miracle Bars daily.

These special 'dog bars' contain kangaroo, sweet potato, turmeric, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, rosehip and MSM — a combination of natural ingredients with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that I really like for supporting our older dogsm (you might recognise the core ingredients from our very popular Equine Recovery Bars for older horses and recovery from competition 🤫)

However, an integral part of my approach, is a monthly course of our Equine Sand Bars.
