Saturday Self Care☺️🌺Flow&Release - 9.30

A little reminder for our wellbeing… 🌿

Drink plenty of water.
Nourish your body with juicy, colourful fruits.
Take long walks.
Move your body, breathe deeply and make time for yoga.
🧘‍♀️

Speak your feelings.
Protect your peace.
Learn something new.
Seek to understand.
Forgive, release and heal. ❤️

Your wellbeing is not just about how you look,
it’s about how you feel, breathe, live and connect with yourself.
🙏🏿

✨ Be kind to your body.
✨ Be gentle with your mind.
✨ Give yourself permission to slow down.
✨ And remember to make space for joy.
🤩

Come back to yourself,
one breath at a time
☺️

What IS yoga?
It is an ancient, beautiful, and complex practice, rooted in Indian philosophy.
That’s a clear definition, right?
The truth is there's no one-size-fits-all definition of yoga.
It isn’t simply one thing.
It's as diverse as each one of us, and that's the incredible power it holds.
It can be gentle or dynamic, quick or extensive, relaxing or challenging—tailored to your own journey and needs.

The lists of benefits are long- spoiler alert:
Yoga extends way past just the physical, which is often the one that gets the most media visibility.

Here's another myth buster:
Yoga isn't only a solitary practice- it's a bridge between the personal and the communal.

It's a space where you can dive into your inner self, yet also connect with a supportive community around you. 🙏🏿

And you want to know the real beauty of this practice?
Anyone can give yoga a try.
You don’t need to be super flexible or experienced.
You don’t have to be a certain age or at a certain fitness level.
You don’t have to be anything other than what you are.

Are you ready to give yoga
a try?
Come & join us at Pranayoga Bathurst 🥰🙏🏿
Everybody is welcome 🤗

I hope to see you all in the mat soon 🙌

Energy givers Yogis ✨🧘‍♀️
Are the things that bring you back to yourself. 🙏🏿

Not everything that restores you has to be complicated.

Sometimes the most powerful things are the simplest ones:
fresh air,
sunshine on your skin, movement,
deep rest,
nourishing food,
a walk in nature,
music that touches your soul,
a warm hug,
time with the people who truly feel like home. 💜

Protect your energy by noticing what fills your cup and make more room for it.

You don't always need to escape your life.
Sometimes you just need
to reconnect with it. 🌺🧘‍♀️🧚‍♂️🙏🏿

Hooray!
First day of Spring!
🌱🌸🌺🌻
Notice the Glimmers ✨🧚‍♂️

Tuesday YogaFlow 9.30am

Here comes the gentle warm breezes and the longer days ~ we love the beginning of Spring .......
it is the time of emergence, expansion, outward expression & new growth.

Spring is the time for cleansing the body from the winters slumber.
In winter we have a tendency to get sluggish, Spring becomes the opportune time to shed heavier layers & clean the body of excess toxins in the tissues.
Nature is melting & releasing energy into the plants, trees & humans .
It's important time to cleanse & detoxify, make new intentions, & plant seeds to ensure this vital energy is focused towards crops , creative projects & dreams ✨🌼🌻🔆💛🤩

My favourite elephant celebrates his birthday today!

Today is Ganesh Chaturthi, the first day in a 10-day celebration to honour the birth of Ganesha the god of wisdom, knowledge and the symbol of new beginnings and the removal of obstacles.

Traditionally devotees make clay dolls of Ganesha and decorate their homes and temples.
Offerings of Ganesha’s favourite sweets including Modaka which is a dumpling made of rice or flour stuffed with grated coconut and jaggery are made in honour of this special day.

Wishing you a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi! 🧡💛❤️🙏🏿

Reflect with me!
Lets Journal Yogis 🌺
All of you who have been on Retreats with me, know how beneficial it is to journal ~ everyday if possible~
always great to take time to reflect after a yoga practice.🧘‍♀️

Reflecting is one of the many rituals we practice within yoga (svadhyaya).
This simple check-in helps us see the progress we're making and believe in the path we’re traveling.
It's a way to close your week with self-awareness, fulfillment and a feeling of completion.
That feeling of yes, I did do that!
Yes, I am learning!
Yes, I am evolving!
Journaling is the practice of writing down your thoughts and feelings for the purposes of self-analysis, self-discovery, and self-reflection.
Even before you begin writing in your gratitude journal, choose a ritual to repeat every time you journal.
Consistency is the key here.
Rituals implement a call to action for our mind, body and spirit by our muscle memory.
Importantly, rituals create habits.
A few “ritual” suggestions are -
🕯️ Lighting a candle
🎶 Playing a favorite song
🍵 Drinking a cup of tea
🛀 Taking a relaxing bath
🤲🏼 Saying a calming prayer
🙏🏿 Chanting a meditation

Anything you decide to do is a great way to let your mind and body know that it’s time to focus on gratitude.
Whatever you choose as a ritual, do it consistently.
It strengthens the ability to turn action into habit, and it’s usually fun and relaxing, giving us motivation to form our habit.

Regular, writing in a journal is important because it closes your day or starts your morning on a high note.
It empowers the feeling in your mind, and helps you infuse the thoughts into your spirit.
This cue to your subconscious uses dreams to process and understand the important feelings you associate with those thoughts.
Celebrate a positive attitude for the start of your day by re-reading your gratitude journal entry in the morning.
It is simply a double-ended bonus!
So lets reflect together
✨ 🌺 🧡 🙏
Much LoVe
