Last night at the Capital Chemist 2026 Gala Dinner, our very own Kaz Carter was named Capital Chemist Team Member of the Year!

We couldn’t be prouder of Kaz and couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this incredible recognition!

Kaz has been part of the Capital Chemist Bathurst family for over 17 years, and in that time, she has become so much more than our Retail Manager. She is a dedicated leader, a wonderful teammate, a passionate community advocate and someone who genuinely cares about the people around her.

From supporting our team through difficult times, to going above and beyond for our patients, driving community fundraising and helping make our pharmacy the place it is today, Kaz puts her heart into everything she does.

Her dedication has been a huge part of our journey, including our success as National Pharmacy of the Year this year.

Kaz, thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, your incredible work ethic and the heart you bring to our pharmacy every single day. We are so lucky to have you on our team.

Ladies, when was your last breast screen?

1 in 7 Women in NSW will be diganosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. If found early, breast cancer is easier to treat and there is an increased chance of survival.

A mammogram can detect very small breast cancers before they can be seen or felt. Women aged 50-74 are encouraged to complete screening every two years.

You don’t need a doctor’s referral to book a FREE breast screen with BreastScreen NSW.

Did you know the Australian Government’s Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS) may be able to help eligible Australians with the cost of continence products?
At Capital Chemist Bathurst, we can help make accessing your continence products simple, discreet and convenient.
The CAPS payment can be used towards products including Continence pants, pads and pull-ups. For eligible people, the 2026–27 CAPS payment is $739.40 per year.
If you or someone you care for experiences permanent and severe incontinence, you may be eligible for financial assistance.
Our friendly team can help you find the right continence products for your needs and make ordering and accessing your products as easy as possible.
We understand that talking about continence can sometimes feel uncomfortable — there's no need to feel embarrassed. We are here to provide private, respectful and practical support.
You can also contact the National Continence Helpline on 1800 330 066 for advice from a continence nurse specialist.
(Eligibility criteria apply. CAPS is an Australian Government payment administered by Services Australia.)
