Presenting at STAA (Shiatsu Therapy Association of Australia) National Conference, as well as unveiling our living lineage interviews with experienced practitioners- an ongoing record of Shiatsu in Australia over the last 50 years.
Personally, moved house, hosted extended family for 3 weeks; dealt with a nasty respiratory illness that knocked out the house hold. And got my formal diagnosis of A(u)DHD.
And here I am! Ready, fresh, excited to back in my groove.

Why have I moved house more than 40 times?

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD).

Have you heard of it?
Me neither, until my lovely learned peer practitioner pointed out to me that I might have it.

Rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD) is when you experience severe emotional pain because of a failure or feeling rejected. This condition is linked to ADHD and experts suspect it happens due to differences in brain structure. Those differences mean your brain can’t regulate rejection-related emotions and behaviors, making them much more intense.

So, if I saw imminent conflict or dysfunction in my share house brewing- well that’s easy- just leave.

Obviously over time, there are things I can’t walk away from, thus carrying internal emotional pain and spending thousands on therapy to ‘fix’ myself.

As I unpack a potential AuDHD profile (who’da thought?!), I’m beginning to replacing ‘fixing’ with acceptance and creating more space around my needs.

Wanna come in there journey? It’s frikken weird and wonderful.
