So this week I’ve had my own son (Mr 7) experiencing stomach flu symptoms, and while we’re on the tail end of it, tonight he got upset with another wave of tummy pain at bedtime.

On top of that, he had remembered he was sad about something he had seen on tv earlier today. Cue the inconsolable tears as he couldn’t shake the sad he was feeling for the character in the show, AND he is over feeling sore tummies after a few days of it.

So of course, out came the remedies:

A little throwback..... deep dive into me... "Erin - wholefood cook" a few years ago.... 🤗

A brief history on the where, when, what, why...

2012 my eldest suffered eczema on her face - igniting my interest to delve deeper into our diet. 🌿

2012 to 2016 - owned a health / bulk wholefood store in Boonah called "Poppi's" 🥰🌈

Separation in 2016... fun...not... 🤷‍♀️ its in the past.

2017 to 2022 worked as a wholefood cook in a beautiful cafe for a lovely couple in Boonah

2022 to 2024 ran my kids school canteen, introducing as much "real" food cooking as possible

2025 to present... so grateful for the opportunity to "rebirth"... now, conveniently a decade later my girls are old enough to work in the shop... 🤷‍♀️😂😜

The passion for good food, never left me... I'm human, I struggle even still to always put "good" food on the table at night... but am always trying... always...

Delving back, reviewing some of the dishes I used to create... skimming through my messy scribbly cookbooks.... I hope this inspires you to keep on trying... 1% a day progress.... is stillprogress ! 👌
