Honoured to call on the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Shri Manoj Sinha, at Lok Bhavan, Srinagar, and submit a memorandum highlighting key public issues of Beerwah, including the retention of the NH-701A alignment through Beerwah Town, upgradation of SDH Beerwah, development of sports infrastructure, and compensation and rehabilitation for flood-affected shopkeepers. Grateful for the patient hearing and hopeful for positive action in the larger public interest.

The development of NH-701A is a welcome step towards strengthening regional connectivity and economic growth. However, development should benefit the people—not bypass them.

I respectfully urge the Government of India and the concerned authorities to retain the NH-701A alignment through Beerwah town in order to protect local livelihoods, strengthen connectivity, preserve the town's commercial importance, and promote balanced and sustainable development.

I stand with the people of Beerwah in appealing for the retention of the existing NH-701A alignment through Beerwah town in the larger public interest.
