I spent some time recently decluttering my office.

To preface, it wasn’t messy or had anything wrong with it, I could just feel the mental load building.

The interesting thing about wellbeing is that it extends far beyond the food we eat.

Our environment matters.

The spaces we spend time in, the things we surround ourselves with, the systems we create and the energy we carry.

When our environment feels lighter, clearer and more intentional, it often becomes easier to think clearly, make decisions and focus on what matters most.

The same principle applies to health. Sometimes progress starts with creating space.

Space in your calendar, mind, home and even in your routines.

I know when life feels less cluttered, it becomes easier to hear what your body is asking for.

Do you feel like you're thinking about food all day?

The next meal. The next snack. The cravings that seem to appear out of nowhere.

Maybe you've told yourself you just need more willpower. But what if it's not about willpower at all? Food noise is REAL!

It's that constant chatter around food, hunger and cravings that can leave you feeling frustrated, exhausted and wondering why it feels so much harder for you than everyone else.

The good news? There are often underlying reasons why this happens.

Things like blood sugar imbalances, stress, poor sleep, hormone changes and insulin resistance can all impact the signals that tell your body when it's hungry and when it's satisfied.

And when those signals are out of balance, it can feel like you're constantly fighting an uphill battle.

It’s my job to help you better understand what's happening inside your body and create a personalised approach to support lasting change.

Because understanding your body changes everything.

Have you ever experienced food noise?

What if some of the symptoms you’ve accepted as ‘just how you feel’ actually had a nutritional answer? 💭

So many women we work with come in exhausted.

Bloated.
Hormonally all over the place.
And quietly wondering if this is just what getting older feels like.

It’s not.

In this week’s podcast episode, we’re covering 9 symptoms women commonly dismiss, and the low-carb nutrition connection behind each one.

We talk about.......
The link between blood sugar and migraines.
Why a high-sugar diet literally feeds recurrent thrush.
How insulin resistance drives irregular cycles.
Why your gut symptoms often respond to reducing fermentable carbs.
And what your persistent fatigue might actually be telling you.

This is about understanding your body well enough to support it. Because sustainable health change starts with awareness. ❤️

What if the biggest workplace performance issue isn’t capability? What if it’s health?

Across healthcare, community organisations and growing businesses, I’m seeing the same challenges emerge:

• Burnout and exhaustion
• Rising stress and overwhelm
• Low energy and poor sleep
• Disengagement and declining morale
• Leadership fatigue
• Teams struggling to perform under increasing pressure

Yet most workplace development programs continue to focus solely on leadership, communication and capability.

All important. But here’s the question we need to ask.........

How can people consistently perform at their best if their health, energy and wellbeing are compromised?

I strongly believe that workplace performance starts with the health of its people.

Because health influences energy.
Energy influences engagement.
Engagement influences leadership and;
And leadership influences performance.

That’s why through Low Carb Keto Health Practice we’ve launched Perform + Thrive. A bespoke workplace development offering designed to strengthen both individual wellbeing, and organisational performance.

Rather than treating health and business performance as separate conversations, we’re bringing them together.

Through evidence-informed education, behaviour change, self-leadership and practical workplace development strategies, we help organisations create healthier people, stronger teams and better business outcomes.

If you’re ready to get the conversation started in your workplace, I’m opening up limited spots across June, July and August to take the first step.

My Perform+Thrive VIP Strategy Days are aimed at supporting business leaders to explore and map out a workplace development strategy that’ll see your organisation and people - perform and thrive!

There are symptoms women experience every day that are quietly brushed off as normal.

Fatigue that won't lift.
Migraines that track with your cycle.
Bloating that never really goes away.
Pelvic pain that gets filed under stress.
Mood that sits lower than it should.

We tell ourselves it's just life.
That everyone feels this way.
That we're too busy to look into it.

But........your body is always communicating with you.

In this week's episode we explore 9 symptoms women should never ignore and, what the research says about how a low-carb, real-food lifestyle can meaningfully support each one.

Because so many of the things women quietly struggle with,
from hormonal imbalance to gut health to persistent fatigue,
have a direct connection to blood sugar, insulin, and inflammation.

And that means they are far more within your influence than you might think 🤔

Motivation feels amazing when it's there.

It gets us started.
It inspires action.
It creates momentum.

But real health transformation is built in the moments when motivation isn't leading the way.

Because life happens. Work gets busy. Stress shows up. The kids get sick. Plans change.

The people who create lasting change are building habits; they’re not relying on motivation to get them through.

They’re creating supportive environments, developing self-awareness and learning how to keep moving forward, even when life feels full.

Health is about creating a lifestyle that supports the person you want to become.

That's where sustainable change lives. What healthy habit has become part of your everyday life?

💪 Movement is medicine. For everybody.

No matter where you’re at in your health journey.

Whether you’re training for something big, rebuilding after an injury, managing a chronic health condition, or simply looking for ways to bring more movement into your everyday life, movement has the power to change how you feel.

Today, I knew I needed to move.

You know those days when you can feel it? When your body is asking for movement. When the weight of a busy week, competing priorities, and life’s pressures are sitting a little heavier than usual.

For me, it was simple.

✨ A 30-minute upper body strength session.
✨ Followed by 30 minutes of steam and sauna.

Nothing extreme.
Nothing complicated.
Nothing perfectly planned.

Just enough to honour what my body needed today. And the difference?

More energy.
More clarity.
A calmer mind.
A body that felt alive again.

If you’re hearing that little voice today telling you that you should move, but another voice is giving you all the reasons why you can’t, won’t, or shouldn’t…

Start small.

A walk around the block.
A few stretches.
Ten minutes of strength work.
A bike ride.
A swim.

It doesn’t have to be hard.
It doesn’t have to be stressful.
And it certainly doesn’t have to be perfect.

Just choose something that helps you do one positive thing for your body and your mind today.

Happy Sunday. 💛

If you’re feeling stuck for ideas, send me a message and I’d be happy to share a few simple ways to get started.
