RAW, vulnerable, unedited, no filter…
Lately I've found myself saying the same thing constantly...
The aesthetic industry needs to change.
I've waited, hoped and watched…. And finally realised that change doesn't happen because we wish for it…It happens because someone is brave enough to change what they have control over.
So, from today...
I will be the change I want to see.
I want to contribute to an industry that places humanity before algorithms, connection before comparison and dignity before perfection.
I know this decision won't be popular… I expect it will ruffle some feathers, probably invite criticism and it may even make me a target.
I'm okay with that!!
I'd rather stand for kindness than try to fit into an industry that too often sees people as dollar signs.
From today...
This page will no longer revolve around treatments.
You won't find endless posts about injectables, machines, products or chasing another impossible standard of beauty created by filters, artificial intelligence and carefully curated perfection.
Every altered image we normalise moves us another step away from recognising the beauty that already exists within us.
I don't want to contribute to that anymore!
My space is about:
Cherished humanity.
Honest conversations and
Real connection.
A place for women navigating life's beautiful, messy and complicated moments.
From today...
I am closing my clinical diary every Monday.
There will be no routine cosmetic appointments and no payments taken in clinic.
Instead, I will open three ninety minute appointments, alternating between my two clinic locations.
These appointments are for women who simply need someone to hold space for them.
Maybe you're navigating divorce, carrying the weight of motherhood on your own, or you've spent years caring for everyone else and forgotten what it feels like to be cared for yourself.
Maybe you're surviving cancer treatment, living with chronic illness or persistent pain.
You may be grieving.
Or perhaps life has simply become too heavy to carry alone.
There is no judgement, no expectation and no shame.
Depending on what feels appropriate for you, your appointment may include
•Gentle skin therapy.
•Nurturing facial.
•Microdermabrasion
•Skin peel
•Intuitive massage
•Lymphatic massage or a
•Relaxation massage
Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer another person isn't another procedure.
It's making them feel genuinely seen.
This is not a marketing campaign, It isn't a business strategy.
It's simply a decision to build the kind of industry I'd be proud to be part of.
If enough of us choose humanity over perfection, perhaps we won't need to keep waiting for the industry to change.
We'll already be changing it.
One woman at a time.
