I am forever grateful to live in this beautiful home.

I built this home 3 years ago (with the help of some very talented builders).

Today I'm embracing slowing down, cooking, stoking a fire and moving my body, which reminds me of the simple pleasures in life.

It feels good to remember, that life really can be magical when we give ourselves permission to rest and recharge šŸ’« šŸ’›

We are a great deal like plants. When plants are in the right, supportive environment, they don’t stagnate- they have indeterminate growth with almost no limitations.

As human beings, emotionally, we are either growing, or we are dying. And no matter our age or physical state, we get to decide which one we do daily.

By design, we are not one-dimensional entities, and when we operate within a fixed and narrow mindset- the inability to see one another’s opinion, the inability to hear and understand those around us, the inability to change lenses and show kindness and compassion to others regardless of their worldview- we cannot BECOME.

We stagnate.

Thriving, whether personally, or in relationships with others, does not happen in states of stagnation. It cannot.

We were created to grow and evolve.
We were fashioned to be a multi-layered tapestry that holds beauty and depth within the rich complexity of our beings.

We were birthed to BECOME.

The many outdated layers of self that we often hide behind, no longer serve us. These are the ones that held an integral survival purpose in the distant past but are now preventing light from entering…

Shed them…

They are inhibiting your BECOMING.

If you wake up and realise the soil you are planted in is incapable of nourishing your being, and despite your attempts, you cannot reach the sunlight, change your garden.

No growth can occur when we root ourselves among the dying or torpid.

You were meant for more.

You’re not lost.
You’re in the middle.

The part of your life that once fit… doesn’t anymore.

But what’s next isn’t fully clear yet.
This is the threshold.

And most people try to rush through it -
fix it, solve it, move on.

But this space isn’t a problem.
It’s a passage.

Not asking you to figure everything out…
but to become someone who can stay.

There's a lot of grief and darkness in our World right now, so it felt like the right time to talk about tending our inner worlds because quite honestly that is the one thing we always have control of.

The Four Sacred Worlds is an ancient teaching; it's a holistic map of human wellbeing, development and awareness.

And I feel it's essential for more people to learn this and be embodying this teaching.

I first learned this model/map (I believe originally from the Kabbalah teachings), when I studied the energy body for four years.

The Four Worlds teaching recognises we are much more than thinking beings, we are living systems moving across four interconnected domains, that require constant balance:

1. The Physical World: the body and nervous system

2. The Emotional World: the heart and relational field

3. The Mental World: clarity and perception

4. The Spiritual World: meaning and belonging

Rather than a rigid hierarchy, the system is circular and relational, with each world influencing and regulating the others.

The system allows us to see ourselves and our lives more wholly, more multi-dimensionally, because ultimately that's what we are; multi-dimensional beings.

I use it in my coaching practice not with a view of identifying weakness, but more of where the imbalance may be in someone's life.

Because when we are not calibrated in balance;

* Our mind becomes overdeveloped
* Our body becomes overridden.
* Our emotional world becomes carefully managed
* And the spiritual world is sometimes asked to provide relief that the nervous system hasn’t yet received.

This model is wise and potent. It will support humankind to elevate and become the sovereign beings we were always meant to be.

Intentionally filling my cup this weekend by saying yes to spontaneous dance floor invitations.. and wonderful catch ups in nature with dear friends.

Appreciating these simpler moments of connection.

Knowing life invites us to slow down, we only need to listen and say yes. Tuning in to these soul whispers.

And distractions? They will always arise to tempt
us out of presence and into the busyness of our minds.

I found an old sketch book today as was in the process of ripping out some of the earlier pages... to make room for a new project and harnessing the new beginnings firehorse energy coming through šŸ”„

To which I stumbled upon an old heirachy of values I had mapped out and what each one meant to me at the time.

Nothing much has changed over the last decade, in terms of the values. And yet they are now deeply marinated in my blood, my bones, my mind and my heart.

They have had 10 years to settle in! šŸ˜‰

Which means that I now see alignment and/or discord a lot faster than I did a decade ago. And I know I'm on the right path.

I've learned to trust myself. I've learned to listen to my own inner authority.

Your values are your framework for a life of purpose.

Aligning inner congruence, peace and freedom. Its a simple exercise and one that will be with you for life.

Getting clear on my values 10yrs ago have most definitely helped me map out my reinvention into a coaching pathway.

The mistake most of us make? We treat mental looping like a mindset issue.

But looping is your body trying to finish a story it never got to complete.

Here’s how to interrupt the cycle with a simple Somatic Retrieval Ritual:

→ Start with Honesty
Name the loop aloud: ā€œI’ve been replaying the moment whenā€¦ā€
No censoring. Just truth.

→ Pinpoint the Hook
Ask: What part of me felt unseen or invalidated?
This reveals the unmet need your energy is circling.

→ Breathe It Back In
Place one hand on the back of your heart, one on your solar plexus.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale with this silent phrase: ā€œI dissolve this tether. I reclaim my energy now.ā€
Feel it coming home.

→ Seal the Shift
Cross your arms over your chest.
Say gently, ā€œI am returned to myself.ā€
Notice what softens.

This practice reclaimed my peace, but the real magic was in remembering I didn’t need to analyse it to heal it. Just honour it, and close the loop with love.
