Recently, our Microsurgical Robotics team had a fantastic time at the 2026 Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) Plastic Surgery Congress in Brisbane. Over the two days, our specialist team enjoyed showcasing the MMI Symani* Surgical System, allowing local healthcare professionals to test-drive the robot and experience new micro-dissection instruments. These hands-on demonstrations provided an opportunity to explore the system’s capabilities and discuss the evolving role of microsurgery and supermicrosurgery, and its clinical applications across specialties.
