Despite its advantages, pure ascorbic acid is inherently unstable and challenging to work with, which is why many DERIVATES have been developed over the years.

Pure ascorbic acid is known to be sensitive to factors like water, air, and light, making it prone to oxidation. When exposed to these elements, ascorbic acid can lose its potency and effectiveness.

Because of that, we decided to use a more stable Vitamin C derivative and combined it additionally with a Kakadu Plum Cellular Extract. This enhances the stability and effectiveness even more and prevents a possible premature oxidation.
