🌬️ Seasonal Health Tip: Asthma Management 🌬️
Changes in weather, cold air, viruses, and seasonal allergens can all trigger asthma symptoms, making it especially important to stay on top of your asthma management during the colder months.
✅ Helpful asthma management tips:
• Take preventer medications exactly as prescribed
• Always carry your reliever inhaler with you
• Use a spacer if recommended — it can improve how well your inhaler works
• Avoid known triggers where possible
• Keep up to date with flu and recommended vaccinations
• Monitor symptoms closely and follow your asthma action plan
⚠️ Signs your asthma may not be well controlled:
• Frequent coughing, wheezing, or shortness of breath
• Needing your reliever inhaler more often
• Waking overnight with symptoms
• Difficulty exercising or completing normal activities
