🌻 NEW AT THE AMEGILLA COMMUNITY HUB! 🌻
We’re excited to be commencing our first ND Teen Social Group this Term 4!
This is a relaxed, community-based group for neurodivergent young people aged 12–15 to meet other ND teens, build connections and friendships, explore shared interests and have a space where they can simply be themselves.
This is not a therapy group. It’s about connection, community and belonging — with opportunities to build confidence and social skills through real interactions with other young people.
The group will be facilitated on a volunteer basis by Amegilla Board Member and local private therapist Chantelle Morrison.
🌻 Ages: 12–15 years
🌻 When: Fortnightly Sundays, 2:30–4:00pm
🌻 Starting: Sunday 11 October
🌻 Term 4: 5 sessions
🌻 Cost: $10 per session / $50 for the term
🌻 Where: Amegilla Community Hub, 20 Longlea Lane, Longlea
🌻 Group size: Maximum 10 young people
🌻 Parents/carers remain onsite during the group
As this is our first teen group, we’ll also be learning from our young people and families about what they want from the space. We hope this is just the beginning, with opportunities to explore younger and older groups in the future.
