✨What are Ear Seeds?

There are hundreds of acupressure points on the ear that represent different areas of the body, similar to reflexology on your feet. I use the tiny ear seeds as acupressure on these points, targeting different areas.

When you come in it will be similar to how I would start any appointment, we go through a quick consultation about what your main health focus is and then we chat about some of those underlying causes could be.

I then select points based on that discussion. I use about 5-8 seeds.

It is hard to know how you respond as everyone is different. I’ll give you a card to take away too which will have some information about the points we selected and where in the ear I have placed them.

Ear seed appointments are available under ‘other services’ on my online bookings, or DM if you have any questions. ✨

For those who’ve recently found me here, you’ll know me as a Doctor of Chinese medicine working in women’s health. What you may not know is that a few years ago I was on the other side of care, navigating my own cancer treatment. This weekend brought me back to where some of that care happened.

Last Saturday night I sat again in a room of a thousand people, all there for the same reason, and felt so incredibly grateful to have a space like this when I needed it most.

When I was going through treatment, I became acutely aware it wasn’t only me carrying it. It was the people around me. My family, my friends, the ones who showed up and held things together on the days I couldn’t. Cancer doesn’t land on one person. It lands on everyone who loves them.

It’s what the night really reminds me of. The Cancer Wellness Program at the Gobbé Wellness Centre looks after all of us, the unwell and the people walking beside them. I know, because I was held by it too.

So this is a thank you to McKean McGregor Real Estate and the Bendigo Health Foundation, for making a night like that possible, and for giving this community something so many places go without.

There’s a reason this community matters so much to me. Being a patient taught me things no degree could. It also changed my work in a way I didn’t expect. I’d spent years supporting women’s hormones with the tools I was trained to use, and then found myself needing care that couldn’t rely on those same tools at all. Relearning that has shaped how I practise, and it’s something I’ll share more about soon.

For today, this is simply a thank you. To this community, for holding me when I needed it most.

Same diagnosis. Different treatment plan.

You’ve tried the protocols. The 5am routines, the 30-day resets, the supplement drawer that’s quietly filling up.

Most of them were written for a woman with a different life.

When we build a treatment plan together, it starts with what’s true for you. Your working hours, your budget, your family, what’s genuinely manageable in a week that’s already full. Two women can arrive with the same diagnosis and leave with completely different plans, because they’re different women.

That’s what clinically guided, individually tailored means in practice.

I’m sharing more this month about how I work and who I work with. Follow along, and if you’re wondering whether this approach fits where you’re at, send me a message. No pressure, just a conversation.

What actually happens when you walk through the door?

The first thing I do is understand your full picture.
What’s been happening, when things shifted, what you’ve already tried, and what hasn’t been properly explained yet.

From there, we look at the same picture through three lenses: Chinese medicine, Western medicine, and functional medicine. Each one can see something the others miss. Sometimes that points to needing additional testing, such as blood tests or checking gut health markers, depending on what comes up.

Then we talk through what’s realistic. What treatment options make sense for you, what fits your schedule, what’s manageable financially. Together we map out a plan that fits your life, not a generic protocol.

This is what individually tailored looks like in practice.

🌱Follow along this month — there’s more to come.

Access to good healthcare matters wherever you live. It’s why I travel to Bendigo twice a week, and why I believe you deserve a practitioner who has the time and clinical depth to look at the whole picture, not just what’s most pressing.
The clinic pace is different in Bendigo. More space. Conversations that have room to breathe. Whether you’re based in regional Victoria or you’d simply prefer a quieter setting, everyone is welcome. I’m in Bendigo on Mondays and Wednesdays. If in-person appointments aren’t an option, online consultations are also available across Australia.

You can command a deadline and run back-to-back meetings, but you’re also managing things most people don’t even see.

Sleep stops at 3am. Your brain doesn’t.
Choosing words feels harder through the brain fog.
Weight is changing, but none of your habits have.

You’re used to solving problems and pushing through. This one, though, has been harder to pin down.

My clinic room in Melbourne’s CBD is for exactly you. A treatment space so close to your office you don’t sacrifice half your working day. You step out of the building and into the one hour in your week that’s entirely yours.

We will work together to form a clear treatment plan. Specific goals. Small, manageable changes that build over time. Your appointments are planned, meaning you give me a quick update, then you can quietly stop. Time just for you… ✨

🔗 Direct message me if you want to know what this can look like for you.

I've spent the last 14 years sitting with women who felt overlooked and dismissed, and watched them become the person they wished they'd found sooner.

That's why I do this work.

I'm Dr Suzi Craig, a Chinese Medicine practitioner specialising in women's hormonal health. I work with women navigating PCOS, endometriosis, perimenopause and menopause.

My approach draws on Chinese medicine, Western reproductive medicine and functional medicine. All three, woven together around what your body actually needs right now.

This month I'm introducing different ways I am here to support you. You'll hear more about where I work, who I work with, and why this work matters to me, as well as access to free resources to support you.

If something here resonates, I invite you to follow along.
