This year the Australian Government lowered the co-payment for PBS medicines for non-pensioners/concession card holders from $31.60 to $25. $130 million has been saved to date by the public as a result.

We ask the government to freeze the yearly indexation of this co-payment so that Australians don't have to go without. Inflation is already making it hard for families to make ends meet. They shouldn't have to forego essential medicines because they have gone up in price.

This week is RSV Awareness Week and we're urging people to consider getting vaccinated against Respiratory Syncytial Virus.

There is now a free vaccine available on the National Immunisation Program for adults aged 75+ and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 60+.
