Since I stared my yoga journey, these 4 poses I always return to during practice. 💗
• Prasarita Balasana.
This posture helps me slow down, soften, and reconnect to my breath. I’ll be here often in practice. At least 6 times…
• Parivrtta Prasarita Padottanasana.
Usually starting in prasarita padottanasana, I’ll make my way into this opening twist, creating space through my spine.
• Trikonasana.
I’ve love this pose since… forever 😅it does a lot of amazing things for the mind & body but the opening it brings to my side body is aaaamazing.
• Upavistha Konasana.
This has been a working progress over years. It started slow, seated with legs wide, making tiny tilts forward while working around that injury on my left side.
Over time, I’ve continued nurturing this space and meeting the pose exactly as my body shows up each day. No forcing, no rushing.
And after all these years, I still keep returning here.
Some days the practice is strong, some days it’s gentle but these poses always seem to give me exactly what I need.
