Kinesiology can support issues such as mindset, stress, physical pain, digestive concerns, cardiovascular issues, allergies, brain integration, and much more. Sessions begin with a conversation about your health and lifestyle. During each Kinesiology session, we explore the root cause of what brought you to my clinic and work with your central nervous system—connected to your subconscious—to guide your body’s natural healing process. Techniques may include sound therapy, flower essences, acupressure, and more. Sessions typically last around 1 hour and 15 minutes, and lasting change often unfolds through a course of treatments. In addition to Kinesiology, Toxin-free living is central to my approach to true health. At Beverley Wellness Hub, we offer a carefully selected range of gluten-free, dairy-free, and non-toxic essentials and personal items to support your health naturally. The building at 106 Vincent St, Beverley, (the old 4 Square - opposite the Freemasons and the hardware) will be opening as The Beverley Market from 1 July. Not only is it the permanent home of the Beverley Community Markets, it will operate Thursday to Sunday and public holidays as a cooperative market space with permanent stall holders. We are hoping you will support us as we build an artisan space that will give our locals and visitors a place to pick up locally made and quality products, attend exhibitions and demonstrations, chat to makers and generally experience Beverley at its best.

In the meantime the regular community markets will be there on May 2nd and we welcome you to drop in and meet our stallholders and check out our new home.

🌿 Home-made Buckwheat toast just out of the Dehydrator! Oh my - this stuff is good... and being RAW and gluten free is only just the beginning! (recipe is below)

Buckwheat! What a suprising seed - and a confusing name...

Hulled Buckwheat is a highly nutritious, naturally gluten free, grain-like seed, and despite its name it is not related to conventional wheat.

It is quick and easy to prepare and can be used as a grain or rice replacement in many dishes such as porridge, soups, salads and desserts. I pop a couple of spoons on my breakfast for a yummy crunch!

Buckwheat contains B vitamins and Magnesium, as well as being a good source of protein!!

🌿🌿 RECIPE FOR BUCKWHEAT TOAST 🌿
(Courtesy Raw Food Karen)

- 3 cups of buckwheat ~ soak overnight or all day, and then sprout
(I sprout mine by laying out on plates in water for 24 hours)
- 1 cup of dry flaxseeds
- pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic (I usually pop an extra couple in)
- 1 cup of fresh herbs (whatever is in your garden, I usually use basil and chives)
- can also add chilli flakes to taste - (I usually leave them out in an attempt to get my kids to eat the toast!)
- date water (or plain water) to get the mix consistency

Process all together until smooth. Spread on teflex dehydrator sheets and mark in to desired size. Turn after 8 hours or so and remove teflex. Continue to dry until hard and crunchy (if you take out too early, they will go soggy and possibly mouldy after a few days - ensure you really dry them out). Store in an air tight container.

🌿 ENJOY with avocado, dips, pesto, guacamole, or eggs (it won't be raw anymore with eggs but it is super delicious!)

🌿 It’s so good to be able to nourish your body with delicious goodness when you’re having a sweet craving - rather than a refined sugar alternative.

🌿 Home-made jellies packed with nutritious grass-fed glyphosate free gelatin.

Why Gelatin is so good for you:

🌿 Rich in amino acids like glycine and proline which helps to support and repair gut lining, reduce irritation and improve digestion

🌿 Supports skin, hair, nails & joints - gelatin is essentially cooked collagen so it helps skin elasticity, stronger hair & nails, joint and connective tissue support

🌿 Assists in the calming of the Nervous system - the amino acid glycine has a calming effect - supports better sleep, reduces nervous system stress, helps the body to relax

🌿 Supports Liver and detox pathways - glycine is also used in detox pathways and supporting liver function

🌿 Indirectly supports immune and respiratory health - gelatin helps the gut, inflammation and the nervous system

🌿 Making jellies is so simple!

1. Place a cup of your favourite berry juice in a small saucepan (without citrus or pineapple as these stop the gelatin from setting - I use Impressed Berry Bliss - it’s delish and sugar free)

2. Gently sprinkle 3 tbsp of gelatin over the top of the juice and wait for it to bloom. (It will form big ripples over the top of the juice)

3. Add 1 tbsp of your best local raw honey and Warm slowly over low heat stirring to dissolve the honey and gelatin.

Important!! Do not boil. Only heat just enough to dissolve the gelatin. Warm is good. 🙂

4. Spoon into your favourite moulds (like my Easter themed ones below. 🐇

5. Pop into the fridge - and they are ready when they are firm.

6. Eat as many as you like as they are sooo good for you!! 😍😍
