The real gift that strength training has given me is not just an aesthetic glow up (although that’s nice too), the real change is in the unshakable confidence and knowledge that I can endure hard things.

Anyone can tear down your appearance, we all have days where we feel uncomfortable in our own skin, but what nobody can take from you is the deep trust and knowing that you instil in yourself when you show up over and over and over again. When you try and fail and restart and re-learn and find a new approach and back yourself. Confidence radiates from the inside out, and I’m proud of the versions of myself that didn’t give up, even when they really, really wanted to.
