Did you know melatonin is one of the most powerful antioxidants?
It acts on specific cell receprors MT1and MT2 which are found in almost all peripheral tissues and the Central Nervous System. It enhances GABA activity contributing to a calming effect. It contributes to lowering blood pressure, regulates vascular tone and is beneficial for sleep and overall wellbeing.
This is why its important we spend less time on our phones at night so we dont disrupt our sleeping patterns and potentially impact our s*x hormones in both men and women.
Melatonin production peaks during REM sleep so its vital we get 7-8 hours of decent sleep. Peak melatonin production is at 3am, which in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) clock is the time our lungs are cleansed.
Exposuse to the first rays of sunlight in the morning and last rays at night are a natural form of increasing melatonin production and will reset our biological clocks.
Also having a teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive oil before bed, which contains Melatonin will also increase production.

Most of us are deficient in one of the most essential minerals our bodies require for over 300 enzymatic reactions to occur and keep us healthy ie Magnesium. We eat way under the recommended intake suggested. This can be due to many factors including diet-eating too many processed foods, lifestyle factors, medications, medical conditions/disorders and depletion of magnesium in the soil.
Below is a great video of simple hints and tips the Armish used to increase their intake of magnesium and other recipes for your health, including hacks for cleaning, gardening and mould to name a few.
Even I learnt a few new tricks which, may be handy to use in the future.

They don't want us to know that we can heal ourselves through simple lifestyle and diet changes and we can thrive.
They don't want us to know that the medication they are giving us is only putting a band aid on the problem (not getting to the root cause), which never heals us.
Take this gut healing wellness shot to improve digestion, gut issues, inflammation in the body and for immunity.

Nutritional deficiencies and toxicity in the body are at the root of human disease and no therapy can build and repair tissue without proper nutritional support.

A healthy food regimen is important at any age but is especially important after age 40 when our organs, glands and tissues begin to slow down. We need to focus on getting balanced meals, sufficient exercise and enough rest. These 6 guidelines are outlined to help with better eating.

●No fried foods or foods cooked in hot oil. Frying destroys nutrients and the lecithin needed to balance cholesterol. And it alters the chemical composition of foods, which is unsafe. Using fried foods increases the risk of heart disease and cancer.

● Don’t eat unless you’re hungry enough to eat wholesome foods. Have healthy foods available to eat when hungry otherwise you will snack on processed unhealthy foods. It isn’t good to eat just because it is mealtime. Your body knows when it needs food, so it is best to wait until you’re hungry before eating. That is when your digestion will work best.

● Don't eat if you feel ill at ease in mind and/or body. It's best to put off eating if you don’t feel good mentally or physically, as your digestion won’t work correctly. Wait until later and your appetite returns. Do not be afraid of missing a meal because no harm will be done.

● Don’t overeat. Eating too fast makes it easy to overeat because by the time the brain says, “I’m full,” the stomach has already received a second helping. Overeating invites too many problems. Eat slowly and deliberately, deciding in advance how much you’ll eat.

● Chew your food thoroughly. It will digest better.

● Skip meals if you’re tired, upset, in pain, chilled, overheated or sick. Rest is more important than eating in all such cases because eating and digesting require energy that is needed to rebalance body systems and heal tissues that need it.

Many people have never learned proper eating guidelines, so lets try and incorporate these core values into everyday life. This information is as relevant now as it was in 1988.

Glyphosate is the original active ingredient in Roundup, a widely used herbicide, but recent Roundup products often contain other chemicals, and its safety remains highly debated.

Cancer is not the only health risk associated with glyphosate exposure.

For years, it was argued that because glyphosate kills plants through a metabolic pathway called the shikimate pathway, it is safe for humans since we do not have this pathway. However, our gut bacteria DO have this pathway!

To reduce glyphosate exposure and minimize the consumption of toxic chemicals in your food, do the following:

1. Opt for organic when possible.

2. Replace cereals with a protein breakfast.

3. Support gut health with fermented foods.

4. Test urine for glyphosate levels.

Have you been feeling more tired than usual, experiencing restless sleep or vivid dreams, heightened emotions, or a sense that things feel a little “off” or unsettled? Don't worry, you are not alone.

Over the past couple of weeks there have been noticeable spikes in the higher frequency bands (around 30–40 Hz), which usually happen when there’s increased solar or geomagnetic activity.

We’ve also just come through heightened geomagnetic activity and minor magnetic storms the last few days which can temporarily disturb Earth’s field and amplify these spikes.

Take some time out for yourself:
• Breathe with intention – slow, deeper breaths (especially longer exhales) help settle your nervous system quickly (more on that below)
• Ground your body – get outside, feet on the earth, or simply step away from screens and stimulation
• Rest and hydrate – more water, more pauses, let your system recalibrate rather than pushing through (take a nap if you need it).

Sometimes the simplest things are the most powerful… and your breath is the fastest way back to centre.
