Anytime is a good time for spices but especially when our seasons get on the chilly side 🥶 (nice pun I thought hehe) 🫚
The warming spices of ginger .. garlic .. black pepper .. turmeric and cinnamon are all so helpful when the temperature outside drops and we start eating some more hearty starchy and higher protein sources regularly 🫚
Spices not only increase the flavour of food they start supporting our digestion as soon as we smell their aroma… releasing digestive signals from our salivary glands to our stomach to our brain 🫚
They support completion and absorption of nutrients and elimination of waste 🫚
They also help our circulation supporting the release of inflammation and increasing ease in movement 🫚
Not to forget immune support 🫚
