What an incredible 10 days of Magical Moments at The Don in Wynyard! So many wonderful people, stories and conversations. There were moments of joy, of reflection, and so too were there tears. Most importantly, there was so much care and love in the room throughout the exhibition. What a sensational community of people, here in Wynyard, and the North West. Thanks to all who attended and those too who would like to have but could not.

There are many people and organisations to thank, as I have previously mentioned, that have so generously assisted to bring Magical Moments Exhibition to the community in conjunction with Rotary Club of Somerset Inc. A big thank you to all and to the Honerable Ruth Forrest MLC for her mention of Magical Moments Exhibition in the Legislative Council of Tasmania on behalf of the community she cares deeply for 🙏

The reason behind Magical Moments is a stark reality. 63 people in Australia take their own life each week. That is 7 males and 2 females each day. For each life lost, 135 people are deeply impacted. That is close to half a million people each year feel the sadness and loss of loved ones and people they care about.

Reaching out to each other, having a conversation, listening, being kind… can have a significant impact on reducing the number of prescious lives lost.

There is always a sense of hope for a brighter day to be found. When we share our feelings with each other we discover that we are not alone, we are not that different, that we all struggle from time to time.

Together we can find a way to happier, kinder, more gentle and satisfying days to look forward to. We are each other’s keeper.

The Magical Moments Photo Exhibition of NW Tasmania held in Wynyard highlights the healing powers of nature for mental health and well-being.

Very excited that Aron and Curtis will be playing at the Magical Moment closing event this Ftiday evening. Aron is a mentor to Curtis for North West Support Services. Both are delightful people and gifted musicians. On behalf of Magical Moments Exhibition, Rotary Club of Somerset Inc and The Don we would love you to join us on Friday evening to celebrate the beauty of nature and healing kindness of our communities in the North West. This is a free event and any sale proceeds go directly to Rotary Club of Somerset for mental health and su***de prevention initiatives in the community. Great appreciation for the support of Mental Health Council of Tasmania in this initiative and the generosity and kindness of the local businesses, organisations and people of our region 🙏❤️ Please RSVP [email protected] for closing night.
